I comment on Rintrah's blog, as do you, and you mentioned that you're still working on how to deal with diabetes. For a while it was an exceedingly trendy anti-aging supplement, but it lost favor since a lot of people got no benefit. However, I am seeing that for those people who benefit, the benefit is huge. I've vastly reduced my mom's Parkinson's tremor by getting her to eat strawberries (the only food that is exceedingly high in fisetin). I'm taking the capsules and am having striking anti-aging results. If you are a person who needs it, it could help. It is harmless; there was recently a Mayo clinic study on it in which people were given massive doses intermittently, but I think regular consumption is better.
Also, Dr. Richard K. Bernstein, who wrote "Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution" is STILL ALIVE. He was born in 1934; he is now 90 years old. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 12 in 1946; he was literally the first diabetic patient to monitor his own blood sugar (see his entry in Wikipedia). I know I keep flogging this book to you; I think you should use his system if the fisetin doesn't do it.
