I'm upset that she is allowed to go back to her previous position at Harvard and keep her $100K

per year salary!!!

No one is above the law and everyone should be held accountable.

I guess if Joe Biden can do it and get away with it, Claudine Gay can. She'll probably be offered some high position at another university or a huge corporation that doesn't mind that kind of behavior. Or...better yet, she might find success in politics! Liars and cheats always seem to get promoted!

Harford is re-named as Harvard Gay or Harvest Gay

To you last question, answer, probably not.

Harvard used to represent top academia everywhere in the world. Has now moved w-a-y down to join corrupt morals and ethics of Schwab, Soros, Gates, Rockefeller types. Any kind of meaningful or useful “education” from this once world renowned institution is long gone.

Isn't it nice that Harvard lost 1 billion dollars of their 50 billion it would be very nice if they went bankrupt along with all of the others that would be nice or they go back to academics real academics and teach them critical thinking instead of group t h i n k

Wonder if Qatar is filling the coffers of Harvard, hence the reason Gay has never retreated from her political position re: Gaza.

if she or he will be more intelligent than seeking rank, more inquisitive and intrigued to make scientific progress than finding fame… judge for yourself..!

(it’s a question of character).

If Harvard lowers the salary of the president by at least 1/3 there is more chance to find this kind of persident.

Unlikely. Cheating, fraud & theft is endemic in Academia.

Claudine Gay said "I stand by my scholarship." It should read "I stand by my lack of scholarship."

The elite academics have apparently redefined the meaning of "plagiarism".

Robin Landry's avatar

I think it’s past time to restore the grades of any student caught plagiarizing. If the president can do it--the students can do it.

In the end, where does it leave this center of ‘higher’ learning?

Maybe charging too much to not teach character?

One big reason why I like to bring attention to that evil institution

Man, I would NEVER say the word "Harvard" these days! Joint is a glorified cesspool...

"Will the next President of Harvard University adhere to “the highest academic standards”?

Probably not. The foundation is rotten.

I can't believe anyone would want to hire a Harvard grad anymore. I sure wouldn't.
