A Strangely Cozy Relationship
Are fact-checkers independent and impartial? Or, do their fact-checks dishonestly defend the interests of commercial parties, such as Pfizer, without disclosing their enmeshment?
One fact-checker, Italian organization Open.Online is very close to a large law firm representing Pfizer.
I fact-checked the above tweet and what I found shocked even me.
DLA Piper is a global law firm representing Pfizer’s interests in numerous countries.

Based on this cozy commercial relationship of Italy’s Open.Online and Pfizer, Facebook was able to censor the Italian Covid vaccine discussion.
Italy was notoriously aggressive in silencing COVID skeptics. One doctor was suspended merely for suggesting to investigate excess deaths:
Sadly, the commercial acolytes of Pfizer, masquerading as “independent fact-checkers,” are still influencing discussions in Italy.
Is similar stuff going on in other countries? Do you know any honest fact-checking organizations? Would you trust “fact-checkers”?
This is the sort of stuff which will only stop when The People step up and stop it. This particular law firm and the attorney mentioned should be afraid to show themselves in public. But by controlling the narrative, they shield themselves from repercussions. Once the narrative is blown, and we are rapidly approaching that point, folks who participated will be walking dead men. Someone who lost someone to the vaccine or the virus because they were both a part of the same operation, will punch their ticket. There are hundreds of thousands of people who "were in on it", we better get to work, there are a lot of tickets to be punched.

Ended a friendship in California over this issue, a retired assistant dean with Ca. State University proudly spoke of the U of C using fact checkers to verify information. Enraged and appalled by her brazen and arrogant stupidity was enough to end further contact.
Supposedly intelligent people relying on fact-checkers speaks volumes of the depth and breadth of common ignorance reaching into and contaminating lazy minds. A marketing background has been a godsend and depressing - full awareness of how easily people can be manipulated merely by massaging the message to produce desired results while playing the well designed trust card.
