So, my family had a recent Covid case. I will omit some personal details, which I know are important, but I do not want to share them publicly.
It was a vaccine-free middle aged person (not me). The usual amount of comorbidities for a middle aged person, not getting into details. Covid started last Sunday Dec 26, with 99.5 degree fever and general weakness.
Covid was confirmed only by a rapid test which we had, which very quickly turned RED a few minutes after putting the test strip into the liquid, much faster than the instruction said to wait. We do NOT know what variant it was.
This person took vitamins before.
The treatment was vitamin D3 (16,000 IU per day for the first few days, then tapered off), 2 grams of C, Zinc . Also 5mg of melatonin for sleep. Also two baby aspirins for the first few days, going down to one baby aspirin and then discontinuing.
Of greater importance was Ivermectin at 0.3mg/kg of weight for 5 days. I found these pills on the street, they probably fell off a truck (just kidding). I obtained it when I first learned about Omicron and started writing my Omicron articles. Until Omicron started, I was actually not sure if Ivermectin works for real, but then made a serious effort to understand the situation, which led me to decide to buy it.
The result of Ivermectin was nothing short of amazing. The patient’s temperature dropped to normal and only once, on Tuesday, was briefly above 99 degrees. Sunday through Wednesday things looked sort of okay, with the family member relaxing, doing the usual stuff, etc.
By Wednesday evening things turned somewhat to the worse, with great loss of energy. The blood oxygen was still close to normal at about 94-95 on the better thumb. Somehow, Tylenol helped with headache Thursday morning. Thursday during the day the patient was better, by Thursday evening loss of energy again, but less concerning in the extent.
On Friday we went to a doctor whom I know and who actually cares about patients, replies to texts etc. This doctor works at a hospital and cares for Covid patients. They did some tests (blood and X ray) and the doctor prescribed some medications, which I will not disclose for privacy but nothing super special. (cough etc)
Even before taking these meds, the patient felt better, was pretty busy during the day but got tired in the evening. The doctor said that things will start getting better from this point in his experience. He is not very familiar with Ivermectin.
No loss of smell.
Nobody Else Got Infected
We did NOT isolate from the sick family member at all. I am vaccine-free and had Covid a year ago in Nov 2020.
Besides me, there were two younger male family members:
One, young male A, also a vaccine free person, had Covid last April and lost smell, although tested negative. I am sure that it was false negative due to loss of smell for 3 weeks.
Another young family member, male B (vaxxed in May) was sick in July of this year.
The weird thing about B’s July sickness was that he had several Covid tests (some possibly too late) and all came negative, but his illness was a lot like Covid Delta and was not very nice.
Neither me, nor Male A caught that illness from Male B in July despite being close. (both males were isolating from middle aged family member when sick)
Also, Male B did NOT get Covid this December despite NOT being isolated and being in the same house. This makes me suspect that it was Covid for Male B in July.
I understand that it makes things sound messy, but the short of this is: two for sure Covid recovered, one very likely Covid recovered, and NONE caught Covid this December despite zero isolation.
I did have a brief feeling of having something funny in my throat last Wednesday, and so did Male B, but it was kind of fleeting and uncertain as to its meaning and significance.
Ivermectin
There was NO monoclonal antibodies, Molnupravir, Paxlovid, or other Frankenstein medications used. Besides vitamins, the most important was Ivermectin at 0.3mg/kg for 5 days. It seems to have worked magically and almost totally killed fever. I cannot be certain with one person sample, but it seems to have worked to reduce the viral load and severity.
Despite that, this was certainly NOT “just a sniffles” case. Possibly it was Delta, but I cannot be sure.
A vaccine-free family friend of the same gender and age and physical composition was also ill, for much longer and much worse. But she also did not end up going to hospital.
We overpaid for Ivermectin, but it was possibly the best investment of my life.
Please read comments for this article, they are worth more than the article itself.
There is quite a bit of research on ivermectin that shows it works quite well. My family in law lives in UP in India, they were all treated with the medicine cocktail they use there (very similar to zelenko protocol). Quick recoveries as well. My wife recently brought ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquin back from her trip to India, just in case we need it as well.
Hi. Found your newsletter looking for ivermectin success stories. I think it works too. Hope it's ok I share my experience. 67 male, 6'1" 176 and do not trust the "vax". Taking the frontline suggestions for about 6 mths B complex, C, magnesium, zinc, black seed oil, NAC, turmeric, quercetin, selenium, K2, beta glucans, copper, melatonin.
Symptoms began with a scratchy throat Wed 12/29. By afternoon getting tired with 99 temp (high for me). Chills at night and woke up frequently. Thur 12/30 rapid test positive and PCR not back. Felt like a medium flu. Achy and lethargic but not unbearable or miserable. Worst thing was all day headache.
Took 36mg ivermectin right after the test. Increased D3, C, NAC, zinc, melatonin and added gargling listerine and betadine nose spray. Chills not as bad and still restless sleep. Fri 12/31 felt better but still tired. A few aspirin helped the headache. Took second dose ivermectin with lunch and felt better after a nap. Sat 1/1 dose 3 felt better still and today Sun Jan 2 was dose 4 of ivermectin. Still a little tired, headache returned tonight plus a bit of nasal congestion but each day is better. Never lost my sense of smell.
A few times a day and night a thickish mucous would settle in my throat which I would quickly do my best to clear. Thankfully that has all but stopped.
One more dose to go and have prednisone and z pack to fill tomorrow and monoclonals if I can find an infusion center that has them. All out in my city. Won't feel safe until it is completely gone but think ivermectin has it on the run. I paid $60 for all the prescriptions and 15 12mg pills were $60 at the only druggist in town that would fill it and I live in a big city.
My only comorbidity is my age. I believe the ivermectin helps because I feel a lessening of the symptoms a few hours after each dose. Hope this helped somebody and good luck. Thank you God
BTW my D level was 49 in Oct.
