My kids are entirely unvaccinated, but I will tell you, it's not -- at all -- an easy thing to do. I became obsessed with researching vaccines while pregnant with my first (circa 2000) and the stress of deciding to go against what everyone else thought was the right, healthy, and safe thing for my children was immense. I'm not exaggerating to say that I probably spent 150+ hours looking into them because it was very difficult to say no, but there IS a lot to question. Including -- this was the ultimate factor in my decision -- the fact that most of these pharma companies have at some point in time knowingly killed people.

A few years later I commented on Daily Kos (yes, I used to be a boilerplate Dem) that there were some scientific reasons to question vaccines and it wasn't unreasonable to have doubts, and revealed that my kids were not vaccinated. I was told by one of the most important people on that site that I should have my children removed from me by the state, and that comment was upvoted many, many times. I thank that person though, in retrospect, because being exiled from the herd allowed me to begin to question much more broadly.

The stress, though, isn't to be underestimated. I live in a very blue college town and my kids' vaccination status has been a closely held secret except for a few trusted friends, which has meant 2 decades of uneasiness for me. I also consult at the university and have always been afraid of the subject coming up somehow in a work setting. I don't want to lie, but I don't think I can tell the truth and still be hired again for the next research paper. I'm very glad that questioning vaccines has recently become far more acceptable, at least online. It will never, alas, be acceptable where I live.

I wish I had known in 1970 what I now know! Would never have jabbed my boys. Just went with the flow back then. Now I’m so awake and have been for years. Could not, however, convince them not to vacc their children. I have 4 COvid jabbed grands and one to be shortly. The two girls have also had Guardisil! Makes me sick. Educated boys, but won’t read anything. Couldn’t see them for two yrs because we wouldn’t get jabbed. Have to let it go somehow.

Glad you were aware and did the right thing for your children!

I'm sorry you couldn't see them for so long-- the psychological harm done to us all has been immense. Statistically your grandchildren should be okay-- I would feel the same as you do, but the odds are in their favor. I hope that's some comfort.

Best to do as you will, to dare and keep secret. The society as we know it is founded on manipulating lies. Coming to US from a different country gives knowledge that not the whole world (an opposite actually) os like that. US is a playground for elites, an experimental lab. The newcomers are able to see right through the lies and illusions.

If you wish to loose this uncomfortable feeling of guilt over your decision, go spend 2-3 weeks outside of US and you will heal.

Following your intuition is the always best decision

Are your children following your example and not vaccinating their children (if they have any)? I was like you but my children have yet to commit to not vaccinating and it's painful.

My own children are too young. But my partner was convinced he had to have the C-19 inoculation to save his own life.

That too a lot of convincing to stop him. Now that C-19 inoculation is proven wrong and harmful, he THANKED me for stopping him from taking it.

What worked is logic. I was very careful and did NOT share any news articles with him. All i shared was published studies and VAERS reports. All studies came from Jeff Chandlers (Coffee & Covid) and Del Bigtree (The Highwire). They are my heroes

Thank you for sharing. Glad you were able to convince your partner on the C-19 injection.

I have to check out Jeff Chandlers. I am also a fan of Del Bigtree.

Glad to hear that those truthtellers may have saved a life from those jabs

I tried to prevent my mom taking it by sharing Doug Corrigan, I thought it might appeal to her as he gave a very clear explanation of ADE & he also shares her religious beliefs but sadly it did not work. I haven't been able to save anyone from Covid jabs unfortunately all my immediate family is at least 2X jabbed

I am sorry that your efforts were unsuccessful. All we can do is speak the truth to others, but many won't listen no matter how hard we try to convince them. It is very sad and upsetting.

I've been following him for the past 2 years. He is sharing the studies as they are coming out.

They don't yet have children. My daughter absolutely will not vaccinate, I don't think my son will but I don't know if he is resolute like my daughter is. I can imagine that would be painful, I hope things turn out well.

Congratulations on your decision! You are lucky your state does not require vaccinations in order to go to school. Homeschooling was not an option for me. However, if these damn shots get mandated, I will absolutely homeschool now. Plus now there are so many online options that there never used to be.

A lot of the time they tell you it's mandatory and it's actually not, unless you are in California, or perhaps New Jersey (I think there's still wiggle room in NJ). Check into what their enforcement tools are, and look around for an alternative doctor who can sign off on an exemption form of some sort. My daughter's preschool "required" vaccinations but she still attended unvaccinated, one piece of paperwork was all that was needed. This is what is wrong with people who say "But we always mandated vaccines..." in response to the covid situation. No we actually did not. Because it's a violation of human rights to do so.

That being said, after a very small amount of preschool we opted out and both my kids were entirely homeschooled K-12. It is a privilege that I could do so, I do realize that. If you end up homeschooling DM me on Twitter, @freelearnerx and I'm happy to give lots of ideas and thoughts.
