All things related to experimentation with human epigenetics and or mutagens/DNA I see as concerning to be honest with you.
Until we know more about secondary and tertiary effects, I feel we are throwing darts into a crowd hoping we don't poke an eye out. We then minimize the hazard by issuing people dark tinted glasses with thick lenses the darts won't land in their eyes. But now they can't see in the dimly lit streets so everyone is just there crashing into each other and getting stuck by vehicles.
This is a repeating theme in human history and I think it's about time we stop this nonsense.
I see the technology as reckless in its infancy but can also see potential benefits for it in 150 years time where and when we have a better understanding of what we are actually doing. But this should not be forced or even accidentally released widely ever again because the risks are fundamentally too big and too varied to accurately accommodate and eliminate-minimize.
It is so reckless. That's why a long time ago, people made up the phrase "mad scientist." Experimenting with this technology is insane. It will take so little to wipe us all out.
Exactly. We aren't the only animals that eat the honey either. Birds do and other animals, fungi and all sorts.
What if it harms them, and by doing that it harms the food supply throughout the environment. Or say it effects fungi in a strange way and this fungi then effects the soil microbiome which then wipes out whole forests and plants by rotting out their roots. The MRSA of soil fungi.
The knock on effect of this recklessness is absolutely "mad"
I revised my article, adding concerns about humans ating mRNA-laden honey, you might also find that concerning
I do find that concerning!

Great (grim) and *accurate* analogy.
We need to ban mRNA technology or they're going to wipe us all out.
Agree(ish)
