Is there a way to discern if the cases are Alpha, Delta, v. Omicron? I’ve heard of many getting 2 out of the 3, but I personally don’t know of anyone getting re-infection of the same variant. And countries seem loathe to gather this kind of granular data that would further destroy their magical jab nonsense.

Interesting question. The reinfection data doesn't include variant or vaccine status. I took a quick look and there is some "Variant percentage of available sequenced episodes, by week" data. This data basically shows the relative levels and trends of the various variants. Most recently Omicron BQ.1 has dominated, Omicron BA.5 has been in steady decline, and Omicron BQ.1 is starting to trend upward.
