I would like to know how climate change is driving food insecurity. According to NASA satellite survey total vegetation on earth has increased about 20% since 1984. Surely this increases rather than decreases food security?

Climate change is far from catastrophe. In fact it will make the world a better place for humans to live. The ideal CO2 level for plant growth, and therefore food security for all life on earth, is 800ppm. We are a long way from that. Trying to reduce carbon levels is not only a total waste of capital, but if successful will reduce earth's ability to sustain the abundance of life on our world.

Unfortunately there are big flaws in Igor's analysis (https://www.igor-chudov.com/p/excess-mortality-still-correlated). Igor's analysis makes the implicit assumption that the trend line through the scatter plot would have a slope of zero if there were no difference in vaccination rates. Suspecting that might not be true, I did an experiment using the same data source, as follows:

If I start with Igor's assumption that in the absence of vaccination rate disparity, the slope of the trend line would be zero, that assumption implies that in such a case, it would not matter how I order the countries to make the scatter plot, because I would get a trend line with a slope of zero no matter how I arranged the order in the horizontal scatter. Since the order would not matter, it would be valid to go back to a time when the mRNA vaccination rates in all countries in the scatter plot were zero, and keep the same order as Igor used in the December-2023-ordered plot he did.

First I downloaded the data set, and verified that I got the same scatter plot he did for December, 2023, ordered by December, 2023 vaccination rates. I do indeed get the same plot he did:

https://stopgrinding.com/images/December2023EuropeanExcessMortalityDataOrderedByVaccinationRatesOfDecember2023.png

Now I replace the December 2023 data in the above chart with April 2020 data (when no one had an mRNA vaccine), and I get this chart:

https://stopgrinding.com/images/April2020EuropeanExcessMortalityDataOrderedByVaccinationRatesOfDecember2023.png

Note that the trend line in the above chart is even steeper than the trend line in the post-vaccination chart. The countries (horizontal axis) are in the same order. If I then assume that the second chart is the true reference for zero-vaccination bias, then the first chart, which has a less steep trend line, would actually be an indication that vaccination decreases overall mortality rather than increasing it. I am not making that argument, but rather I am using this to demonstrate that Igor's assumption the trend line "should be flat" is false, because there are so many different variables that go into how each country defines "excess deaths", and so many variables in the differences between healthcare in different countries, that the fact that Igor got a trend line with the slope he got cannot be used to infer anything whatsoever about vaccination rate's effect on excess deaths.

The 'nature' article may be preparing the way for the WHO to declare a 'climate' or other named 'pandemic' or 'emergency' and get us to lockdown etc. Will our Labour/Conservative/LibDem/Green Party representatives who will attend the WHO jamboree 27th May to 1st June this year in Geneva sign the Pandemic Preparedness Treaty and thus give away the independence of the UK government and our ability to debate, legislate and implement the public health policies of the British people?

To address your last couple of questions, I am currently taking Biology in college -- working on finishing my degree. At the most foundational level, they talk about "The Scientific Method" of which (as you probably know) the first steps are asking a question and formulating a hypothesis to answer it.

The bar of entry to following the scientific method is very low in that respect, i.e., even a young child can obviously ask questions and formulate possible answers.

The odd part of my class is that, also early on, the furthering of the concept of "pseudoscience" and "pseudoscientific" which is largely used to dismiss or marginalize non-mainstream science. They don't say it that way but given the low-bar of entry to being scientific, it's hard to understand it any other way.

But taken together, I think you need to ask those questions and we need to check various hypothesis that answer them. Seeing as the entire population now fancy themselves as "following the science" and being all sciency and stuff!

No, we should not shut up. If we do we’re as bad as the perpetrators. One might think that to stay silent might be easier but the thing is if we do that our consciences will never rest. We owe it to ourselves and others to keep going. History demands it.

Should anyone ever “shut up” when they have good reason to believe something or some situation is wrong, harmful, dangerous or just inexplicable? Absolutely not! At worst a person can be persuaded, through factual evidence to arrive at a different conclusion, at best a person can provide factual evidence to others to allow them to consider their position- I think this would be termed healthy , intelligent debate. But when there is evidence that someone or something is actually trying to shut you up, prevent the airing of an an alternative opinion backed up by evidence……then this is the time to speak out most loudly in my opinion

10% excess mortality may not appear significant at first look. But it is actually a grievous situation. The reason is you can only die once. So the 10% excess is an ongoing 'tax' on the living population. And it compounds! We can easily be experiencing doubling number of deaths in under 10 years!

If the Princess of Wales took the covid jab poisons and suffered a serious adverse injury, that might explain all the weirdness in hiding her current whereabouts. Because if it becomes known that she is in a coma or disabled from the poison that would be a massive "Emperor-has-no-clothes" moment.

Of course if it were climate change the correlation would be increased deaths in poorer countries, but it’s the rich countries that have higher all-cause mortality.

How are the birth rates doing, BTW, Igor? At https://community.babycenter.com/birthclubs/ I can see membership dropping from 33K for due date during March 2021 to 15K in February 2024... Worth a plot, to see the precipitous drop in the first half of 2021...

Yep this is my question.

"Could vaccination rates affect excess mortality rates a long time after vaccinations?"

Dr. Makis posted an essay on how the HIV vaccine failed and the person who wrote the article on it said that the mRNA had been studied for decades, but always failed during the 3rd trial period…., but then just skipped over that snafu and said that the Covid vaccines were a smashing success and have been proven safe and effective and so big pharma is creating new mRNA vaccines for a lot of other diseases. The EUA was the scam to get the mRNA protocol approved and now no more studies into the safety of it needs done. Moderna is doing one for skin cancer. And of course one will need numerous shots to create all the different antibodies…they ain’t gonna stop.

There are many excuses that can be made for the excess mortality throughout most of the planet. Some may be partially to blame; however, sudden spikes in mortality cannot be blamed on causes that have been building for decades. Poor diet (thanks in part to the FDC), lack of exercise don't help peoples' life expectancy. Climate change is not a plausible reason. What is clear, to those who are awake, is that the medical countermeasures for SARS2/Covid-19, misnamed vaccines, are to blame. This excess mortality will likely continue as long as vaccinated people (or those effected by shedding) remain alive. To prevent the perpetrators from escaping with no consequences, the statistics and causes must be continually brought out to the public. Thank you, Igor, for performing this service for the good of humanity.
