The elephant in the room is that Elon Musk says he will stop spam by making users identify themselves. Presumably with a digital identity. I don't think anyone will want to use their free speech once the social credit systems are in place.

An account can be anonymous (not display a real name) and be human-confirmed.

The first step to this is asking for a non-VOIP phone number

Google started requiring phone numbers for email accounts. I am not as well versed on all the work-arounds on isp#s as well as how to get a phone number without getting a burner phone. Before that you could create all types of Gmail accounts as I and many others did for fun. I assume that has gotten a lot harder. Same thing was true of "Topix", available all over the place with little restriction on posts.

Interesting . Here in Australia , once free to speak , the reaction to many big protests over lockdowns saw Nth Korea style arrests , violence from police , tear gas , arrested a pregnant women at 7.30

She was a middle class , highly educated. , non conspiracy normal housewife with no criminal intent , Arrested because she had a Facebook page for planned protest !! 7 mnths pregnant , in dressing gown , handcuffed ??? Google's requiring phone numbers is ***selective***. I have had a GMail account for over 10 years. I have the same verification email for over 10 years. I verified with a Google-produced code sent to the verification email. Even though it verifies successfully, Google will still not let me in. Google would not accept a "burner" phone number, they want a Telecom provider phone number. Alas... during this same week Google locked me out, I set up a new Google account for my neighbor on her computer, and Google did NOT ask for any kind of phone number when her account was successfully created (and later used.) Why? She has no blocking privacy type of protection on her computer. Tag away. For sure they already know who she is and all about her. Google is ***selective*** and ***discriminatory*** in their verification practices. Good thing I had nothing in that Gmail account, I just keep it because I used it at one time and don't want someone else taking it over, so no nefarious activity could be blamed for their actions.

Anonymity is a false security blanket. Easily circumvented. Twit and other web services can id their users if they want to. The use of cute screen names gives the timid a sense of privacy that encourages them to hide. Participating in a web forum is like going to a party, or church, or a football game. You're accountable for misbehavior. The problem with twit is they don't define their standards of behavior. Elon promises to correct that by making those standards very clear, bu publishing the moderation algorithms. Those who set arbitrary standards of behavior are tyrants and should not be supported. Those who know the standards but violate them are antisocial and don't belong on social media. Anonymity should never be cover for misbehavior. And tyranny should never be cover for oppression. I expect Elon will make everyone happy.

If you use an apple or android phone, you are constantly being watched.

Expand full comment

Watchable. They don't have the bandwidth to watch everyone. A Faraday bag can hide you.

Expand full comment

I disagree with both your points.

1. Sure they can't put a human observer on you full time, but they can

(a) store all your data and make it available at a later date to any investigator. This is like a sword of Damocles hanging over anyone who "misbehaves".

(b) use AI to check for red flags (e.g. Apple's proposal to suveil all photos on iphones) and alert human investigators

This is tantamount to watching everyone all the time.

2. A Faraday bag can stop them tracking you when you are not using your phone, but

(a) it would not stop your phone storing audio for example and sending it when removed from the bag.

(b) Most of the interesting stuff occurs when you use your phone, and you have to take your phone out of the bag to use it. Every time you make or receive a call, what you say on that call, take a photo, attach to wifi or bluetooth, any time you use maps or surf the internet etc. it is, or could be, recorded.

Mulder famously preached, "Trust no one." But eventually he did trust a few. I don't remember how that turned out for him. In real life, we have to trust some, to some extent. I'm moderately confident Apple won't use the info stored on my phones maliciously. A little less confident of Google, but I'm using an android tablet for this note. Part of the trust is understanding the relationship. Tech like metadata in images can be cleaned. We can improve our protection with a little extra work. VPN provides a layer of protection that few people use. My current situation is I don't have much reason to hide. If I find a need for better secrecy, I'll invest in improving my protections.

I've worked as a police investigator, so I've seen the capabilities of authorities to surreptitiously observe people, based on our perception of their "suspicious" activities. Lots of room for abuse based on how those perceptions are formed, and why. A lot of our cases were cinched by a person the suspect "trusted" flipping and becoming an informant. We can't really get much done without trust, but it does need to be managed.

Everybody has a right to be an insufferable jerk, but not here. Every successful society has rules of decorum and penalties for violating them. As the supremes said, we can't yell fire in a crowded theater, unless there is a fire. The balance is we can say whatever we like, and Twitter can show us the door if they like. Just like at my house. Rights always come with responsibilities. Elon promises to make his standards clear, and eliminate the political dogma. He won't eliminate standards, or their enforcement.

Expand full comment

The SCOTUS never ruled on yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. It was a comment made by Holmes ruling on a case of someone complaining about the draft. Said case was overturned.

IMO, you should not be legally prohibited from yelling "fire" in a crowded theater but should be criminally and civilly responsible for the consequences. For instance, if someone is crushed to death in the ensuing melee, you should be charged with at least manslaughter. IANAL.

Expand full comment

So you'll wait for mayhem or death before considering threats. Fortunately, societies always have more effective standards. As for yelling fire, its prosecutable. Depends on whether it's a busy day in the prosecutors office.

Operation Darkheart is a fun tale of how DIA investigators identified the 9/11 plot before 9/11 but were stopped by higher authorities who didn't want to investigate threats. 3000 people and their families wished they had acted. Failing to address threats never turns out well.

The real answer to all the tyranny is decentralization. Centralized power everywhere and always attracts the power hungry psychopaths. By decentralizing everything, we take that power away from the psychopaths once and for all. Decentralization is the only viable future. It starts by decentralizing money (Bitcoin is the only way, cryptos are scams) followed by decentralized economy and decentralized government. Only when those 3 pillars of society are decentralized, will man, for the first time ever, experience freedom. Let's make it happen. Get seriously educated on bitcoin. The train is leaving the station with or without you.

Bitcoin is irrelevant, and even with a good concept, it has already been hacked. And it relies on the internet, which is increasingly uncertain, and also controlled by governments. That's also centralized.

So I think the good news on the Twitter-Musk purchase is that it was clearly not anticipated by the Elite Establishment. As a result, there's a lot of scrambling. For example, Biden Admin proposing a Disinformation Government Board, FCC rejecting frantic calls to block the purchase, sudden desire of DC to take up Section 230 Reform, etc.) It seems likely that the more serious attempts at regaining control of the worldwide public square are months out. As always litigation and/or legislation will take years so it seems possible that Twitter will become as censored as Musk wishes it to be.

I would also propose another perspective, throughout 2021 global governments have been taking serious incoming as a result of the various tyrannical covid policies they've undertaken (not to mention decades of foolish fiscal and social policies that required healthy economies to sustain the ponzi scheme) . While the establishment has managed to censor, underplay and ignore them, non-violent (and violent) protests erupted throughout 2021 that were sizeable and extremely difficult to control.

It appears that the Elite Establishment is a bit on edge right now - there are an awful lot of pots boiling over. With serious economic and food scarcity issues heading toward every global governance structure, one wonders if opening up the public market to debate might be seen by these establishments as possible release valve in prevention of something worse. On the other hand, perhaps these governments are hoping that opening up public debate will lead to violence that enables the state to seize more power once again.

Hello, I wanted to respond to your last article, but did not get to it in time. This is in response to "Why did you not get the shot?"

The media reporting in March 2020 had a familiar ring to it. Where had I seen this before?

Cases, cases, cases, deaths, deaths, cases every day. Tickers. Numbers. Graphs. Same photo of an ER in Italy over and over which never really showed anything at all.

It harkened me back to the media blitz in 2007-2008 on the "housing crisis." Tickers, stats, housing price averages every day every hour every channel. The average house price is now XXXXX. Going up! Going Up! Every day the average house price jumped thousands. No one would be able to afford housing! Hurry! Hurry! Buy! Buy! That culminated in the government/taxpayer bailouts of the banks, investment firms, and more.

Right before the election.

So here the method seemed to be coming out of the same playbook. Urgency. Fear. Saturation. It was amped up and more concentrated than it was in 2008, happening right after the failed impeachment.

About a week before the shutdown, a coworker and I were discussing this. I said "this does not seem right." And she said "they are going to make us take a vaccine." My jaw dropped because I knew she was right. (Incidentally, she had been in a losing battle to "delay" the childhood vaccines for her baby, so she was onto vaccines)

Then the shutdowns.

Next came the miraculous vaccine which was safe and effective though it was developed in just a few minutes. People were literally tripping over each other and lying (they had people draft them letters that they were first responders, etc) so they could be first in line to get the vaccine that is not a vaccine.

They were wearing little stickers that said "I got vaccinated" or something like that. That reminded me of the "I voted" stickers. Those of you that are older, remember the gold, silver, and blue stars you would get on assignments in elementary school? You are a good little girl. Another red flag.

Then came the bribery. Donuts, beers, and sweepstakes entries to take the jab. Prizes to take the jab. Is that like going to a time share presentation and being brow beat for hours only to get a stupid travel prize that is not a prize that you can only use on Mondays between 10 and 11AM on odd days in even months? You get a donut for injecting yourself with poison! Woo hoo!

Free Uber rides to vaccination clinics. Dating site profiles with your vaccination status. Commercials with proud and happy folk who were so magnanimous that they did it for others. Vans driving around the neighborhood that would bring the vaccination to you! It was marketed in every nook and cranny and I don't use FB or Social Media.

And that was it. Something so "lifesaving" and such a "gift" to others would not require such a hard sell.

And besides that I have worked for the government for 20+ years and even at my low level I know what I have seen.

Elon Musk Is a Former Klaus Schwab WEF Young Global Leader

https://www.americaoutloud.com/elon-musk-is-a-former-klaus-schwab-wef-young-global-leader/

Most of my audience is well aware that the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leader” initiative has yielded some of the most powerful people in the world. From leaders like Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsom to tech giants like Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg, the disciples of Klaus Schwab and the New World Order make up a huge chunk of control over our world today.

What many may not know is that Elon Musk is among them. I don’t hold it against you if you didn’t know because there seems to have been a concerted effort to hide this fact. Searching on Google and other platforms for information about just about any of the previous graduates of Schwab’s school of globalism reveals tons of information, but a similar search for Musk’s participation is conspicuously slim. I had to go back to a 2008 Bloomberg article to find it.

In an article titled “Young Global Leaders–Anderson Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio Are In The Most Exclusive Private Social Network In The World” by Bruce Nussbaum published March 17, 2008, it’s revealed that, “Elon Musk, the chairman of Tesla Motors, the much-publicized electric sports-car company, is a new YGL.”

Disturbing indeed! In these trying times of late, you can't tell your villains without a score card. I'm sure Musk is somewhat in tune with the "Jekyll Island" club, most of the uber wealthy are. The absence of free speech, or should I say restricted speech, was how the scamdemic spiraled out of control. Corona also reveled the enormity of the level of indoctrination, which allowed the mass conformity to take hold. The Democrat party has been corrupt since Andrew Jackson but with the rapid advancement of technology, the propaganda spread at an alarming rate on every communication network available. As you have noted, the lack of critical thinking plaguing so many of our fellow citizens left an opening for a minority of rabid leftists and partisan robber barons to hijack the narrative. Lately, the important issues have gone so berserk so quickly, even the drones are taking notice and asking the obvious questions. Even if Musk is part of the club, a reorganized twitter would have to be an improvement over the partisan cancel culture platform it currently is. My greatest fear is when the Republicans take back the reins of government, they don't blow it again. There is a boat load of "go along to get along" Rino's in the party who should be ignored or defeated in the primaries. It's time to invoke the "bringing a knife to a gun fight" cliche. Disagree that Putin is evil--please spell that out with proof.

Also, let's not forget that Musk has littered the skies with thousands (and counting) 5G satellites.

What's Musk's body count compared to Putin's?

I wonder if this is following the pattern like Ardern of NZ, who stepped in with neo liberal rhetorics and then once she gained popularity, she turned into an evil witch.

I can't figure out what makes Twitter twatter worth 44 billion dollars.

Expand full comment

I think that Elon Musk is an invention of the same people who are behind the CovCON... these people are all powerful... and Musk is not going off the reservation with this Twitter thing...

He's not stupid .. as we know - resistance is futile. We saw that with the truckers -- the second they got any traction they were shut down - without a peep.

To think that Musk is about to use Twitter to disseminate Covid Truth ... is ridiculous. Not allowed.

Musk is playing his role... just as he plays his role as the front man for EVs and renewable energy -- all bullshit -- but when oil is finite it is necessary to make the hordes believe there is a future...

Of course his role encompasses a Mars Colony ... if all else fails - we abandon ship... and the hordes buy it (mass formation again)

Musk has been designated the Techno Messiah. Who flies about in his green private jet smoking weed and washing down Ambien and E with fine red wine.

The matrix is so fascinating.

You may NOT be wrong!!!

I have a question. How is the situation in New Zealand? People still sick a lot? Anyone waking up?

Expand full comment

I have minimal contact with anyone beyond my wife, two dogs, and the two kids were snatched from the Philippines to do our slave labour here... (when they are not studying)...

My only foray into DelusiSTAN involves the local ice hockey scene... the local team from the national league splits into 4 and some of us washed up guys are invited to fill some spots for a 5 week pre-season league... Lots of sickies on some of the teams - one team had only 5 skaters the other night -- gotta be covid-related cuz people are usually keen to go at the beginning of the season...

I think I may have mentioned here but I was rotating through the bench and a young guy told me to bump past him - I asked if he was injured - he said no - I don't feel right - I don't feel good. He was looking fine up until then - this was near the end of the game so don't think he went on the ice again... it's a bit creepy to encounter in real time what might be a vax injury collapse waiting to happen (20ish year old fit kid...)

I suspect if someone goes down nothing will be mentioned about the injections (pretty my all the skaters there are jacked up).... they'll wheel the person off ... the puck will be dropped .. and life will go on.

As for waking up -- I believe 950k people had missed the booster which was due late Feb March for most... I think people are hearing about the vax injuries so something deep inside (Mr DNA) is feeling threatened..

I do not consider them awake though - they still do not see this is a CON. They just think that Omicron is not a big deal so why inject more.. and risk injury.

The second we get the Bossche Mutation ... I imagine they'll all be shoving their way into the clinics demanding that skipped booster.

I'm in Japan and I feel ppl are subconsciously aware but kinda in denial (or don't wanna make the connection too)? I mean you don't wanna know you might have been injected with poison and it's like having a timebomb inside.

During the Delta wave last August, ppl were driven into mass vax campaign, that coincided with the bloody Olympics. And I noticed pine needle tea products were sold out. I saw quite a few customer's comments on internet shops, stating they bought the tea bc they wanted to try and detox (from the shots) and also some said bc of the shedding from the jabbed. It sounds like some ppl are conscious and doing something about it.

But overall, the impression I get is things are still put under the carpet...

It's becoming The Unspoken Horror.

The thing is...

If you had the ticking time bomb injected into your body ... acknowledging the misfortune of the vax injured... is not done.... cuz you may be next in line

I suppose it's psychologically well calculated by the masterminds . (So brutal !) Prisoners also act as prison wardens.

I'm not jabbed and can only encourage them to speak up. But I guess they won't till they experience the affect for themselves or start wondering what if...

Hi Igor... see here. People are definitely waking up and they are pissed. You cannot hide the truth in a tiny little innocent country of 5 million.

Sad to read but it's inevitable... NZ had closed the border for a long while, hence the population was living in a hospital like, germ free environment. Then the mass vax campaign kicked in. I wonder if that made it worse for the ppl whose innate immune system was not trained.

I think so because practically every household has Covid now. I dread seeing what happens in winter. It’s still nice there.

Thx. Just reminds me of the history of the Pacific islanders perished from infectious diseases brought in from outside.

Do u think the wicked witch of Aotearoa intended to make the ppl more vulnerable by deliberating keeping the virus at the border for so long? (Along with OZ).

I dunno, I am on the fence with this situation. It could go either way.

One example is the veneer of free speech and use of algorithms to minimize and suppress it. So you may not get banned or have your posts removed. But you likely will not reach a fraction of the audience you typically would. This is rampant on Facebook at the moment. It's so bad its hardly worth using.

Another is Musks links to transhumanist concepts like neuralink.

Perhaps he has a vested interest in these shots and the integration of injectable nanotechnology, starlink, 5g. Whatever. Or maybe he doesn't.

Another thought to consider.

The hundred flower campaign of China and the CCP rise to power for instance.

There, they encouraged dissent and open debate. They wanted people to be free to air their concerns.

And a year later track them all down and make them dissapear.
