Claudine Gay's Dissertation Contains Unattributed Text Lifted from Other Works
A big scandal is unfolding.
An internet reporter, Christopher Rufo, looked closely at the doctoral dissertation of Claudine Gay, the 30th President of Harvard University.
He found passages of text lifted from other manuscripts but not properly attributed to the original authors.
Harvard has strict policies regarding plagiarism:

Plagiarism in the Contrarian Space
A pet peeve of mine is that my writings are plagiarized a lot. People republish my entire posts, pretend they wrote them, and give me no credit. (I am very thankful to people who repost my articles while giving me proper credit)
After much thinking, early on in 2021, I decided to ignore this problem. Having my ideas spread is good, even if reposts do not refer to me. Spreading the truth is more important than vanity. Nevertheless, I would be happier if my name was mentioned in reposts.

Thanks for writing this. I just watched an interview of an "author" who basically plagiarized my entire documentary series by turning it into a book and never crediting me a single time. I even have 8 pages of web-receipts of how often he watched my doc! So frustrating to not even be given any credit.
