GETTR isn’t free of the crazy, though it’s not as overwhelmed by it as Twitter (even if the crazy if different). That said, they don’t censor for anything but genuinely illegal activity, and they leave the blocking to individuals. Anyone is free yo have any conversation, but people aren’t forced yo listen, exactly as it should be.

Any platform that's highly dependent on mobile apps from the Apple or Google store cannot be counted on to be/remain uncensored. And being hosted on AWS isn't a good idea either -- just ask one of Gettr's competitors about that.

Substack is a solid publishing platform. Anyone wanting to publish a newsletter is well advised to look here.
But Substack newsletters still need to be publicized, and for that one needs social media platforms.

You don’t need to use a mobile app…didn’t even know there was one. Use DuckDuckGo.
