Neonatal Deaths in Vaccinated Mothers 28% Greater, UK Study Reveals Accidentally
They were trying to prove that Covid vaccine is "safe and effective"
A new preprint study was published to appear in the British Medical Journal. Working for the UK government, its authors set out to prove that COVID vaccines were safe in pregnancy. However, some findings are disturbing and point at the opposite.
Vaccines Do Cause COVID-19, Sort of
The first finding, to get us started, is that COVID-vaccinated mothers had MORE COVID-19 than the unvaccinated mothers.
The vaccines, supposedly designed to prevent infection, caused vaccinated pregnant women to have more illnesses:
15% of vaccinated pregnant women had COVID-19, whereas only 12% of unvaccinated pregnant women had it.
The study completely glosses over this inconvenient fact, of course.
A side note: the above 12% and 15% numbers may include incidences of COVID during pregnancy that happened BEFORE some women were vaccinated. That would make the vaccine comparison even worse because all pregnant women were in the same position - unvaccinated - before some of them got vaccinated, and vaccination made the vaccinated cohort come out worse by 3%!
We were told that “COVID vaccines do not cause Covid-19”. It is very narrowly true: these vaccines do not contain live viruses. However, the table above shows that vaccines made vaccinated pregnant women more vulnerable to infection post-vaccination.
28% Greater Neonatal Deaths
The saddest part of the report concerns neonatal deaths: deaths of newborns up to 28 days of age.
You can see that the data suggests that neonatal deaths for vaccinated mothers are 27-32% higher than those for unvaccinated mothers.
I want to underscore that the data, while alarming, does not reach the level of statistical significance. Interestingly, as was found in the US CDC report, the higher-dose Moderna vaccine causes MORE neonatal deaths than the lower-dose Pfizer. In the above report, Pfizer is associated with a 32% increase in neonatal deaths, and Moderna with a 37% increase (underlined in blue).
It makes sense that a higher dose of vaccine causes more neonatal deaths.
A similar pattern was found in the CDC’s vaccine report:
This chart of neonatal deaths in Scotland corroborates the UK researchers’ data we are discussing, showing an unexplainable increase in neonatal deaths.
Miscarriage Data CENSORED from the Report
The supplementary material contains disappointing statements:
All miscarriages (terminations of pregnancy before 24 weeks) were censored (eliminated) from the data
Some neonatal deaths or stillbirths were also censored if they did not include a NHS number for the baby. While I am not an expert on the UK birthing procedures, this may include many early neonatal deaths or stillbirths if that number was not assigned before the infant died. Maybe someone can shed light on this in the comments.
The number of total pregnancies included is 514,013 (page 2). The number of pregnancies excluded due to missing NHS numbers for the baby is 88,237. Those are most likely the ones involving spontaneous abortions, stillbirths, etc. Does excluding such pregnancies where the NHS number was not even assigned to the baby skew the data and make it look better for COVID vaccines? You tell me! We cannot be certain, but I am suspicious.
Overall, this pro-vaccine report, revealing very uncomfortable data regarding neonatal deaths, leaves me wishing that the researchers could provide raw data records that they used and included miscarriages. Brian Mowrey also covered this study. Check out his post if you want to see another author’s take.
The disappointing neonatal death findings cause worry but fail to reach statistical significance. And yet, the pro-vaccine authors revealed disturbing information, undoubtedly worth reporting to my readers.
The pregnant UK women were told to vaccinate to save grandmothers and stop the pandemic. Instead, the vaccinated mothers had MORE COVID and had unfortunate outcomes for the newborns.
The UK government published a report with censored miscarriage data and 15% of most problematic pregnancies removed from the data set — that still shows health damage to the infants.
Will they ever release the underlying data?
Great job. I always love it when papers show the opposite of what they claim if you look at the data in a way that is different from what the authors want you to believe. Medical paper authors are like magicians. Their job is to distract you from interpreting the data in a way that they don’t want you to see.
Wait, did they also wait 14 days after the second shot to marked them “vaccinated”? What kind of window are we looking at between shots one and two? Because there may be an even GREATER number of positive covid expectant mothers than even that number.
