New Large Study: Ivermectin cuts deaths in Half

Used only as a preventative -- not even as treatment

I have always been unsure if Ivermectin is, or is not, helpful in treating Covid. I spent several days, over the course of many months, reading all I could find, but still could not make up my mind beyond reasonable doubt. So, I always sidestepped Ivermectin, unsure if I should put my voice behind something that I was not certain worked.

I always wondered, if Ivermectin was such a possibly helpful treatment, why aren’t our health authorities, who should be so concerned with keeping us healthy, undertake a reasonable sized trial to determine this? This was a puzzle to me for a long time.

Finally, two pieces of information made me fairly certain that Ivermectin works, and the campaign against is the most vile and anti-human endeavour of the government, the corporate press, and Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.

Here’s a new study: Ivermectin prophylaxis used for COVID-19 reduces COVID-19 infection and mortality rates: A 220,517-subject, populational-level retrospective citywide.

These researchers, based in Brasil, took a particular city of Itajai, and offered all residents a prophylactic treatments of a certain dose of Ivermectin given every 15 days. Some residents chose to use it and some declined.

Note that this is a prophylactic treatment, as opposed to treating an active case of Covid.

The result of this was that Covid mortality among those who chose to take Ivermectin, was basically cut in half. The clinical result has a very high confidence value of p=0.0001, meaning that, in simple language, the chance of this being a random occurrence is less than 0.0001.

These researchers tried to create comparison groups comparable by age, sex and such, thus preventing bias or confounding variables from confusing the result.

This means that Ivermectin does have a measurable health effect. Note that there was no Ivermectin treatment of the disease itself in this study, only preventative treatment. In other words, Ivermectin was not used to treat covid patients — it was given to everyone preventatively.

The Ivermectin story is extremely messy. There are powerful forces opposing it. Despite obvious promise, the United States did not conduct a single large trial of it. There is every logical reason that they should conduct a trial — but they did not, and said that vaccines are the solution. We know how that worked out.

A large UK trial called the PRINCIPLE TRIAL, was suspended due to — guess what — “lack of supply of Ivermectin”.

The ivermectin arm of the U.K.'s PRINCIPLE trial is "currently paused due to temporary supply issues," according to the trial's website.

So, I could buy Ivermectin easily in USA, anyone can buy it for $0.50 per pill in Mexico, but this trial has “supply issues”? Who are they kidding?

There is also a big scandal about Dr James Hill, who earlier posted favorite review of Ivermectin, only to retract it due to Bill Gates funded sponsors’ pressure. It is actually a messy scandal because at least one study was, indeed, fake — but most others were not.

Will Ivermectin work against Omicron?
