I believe ships put out more pollution than all cars in world. What is CO2? Plant food!

There're 90,000 ships on our oceans. If we took the 30 oldest and largest crude ships out of circulation this would be approximately equivalent to 1.2 million motor vehicles.

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) promised more than a decade ago to remove the use of the very crude, 'crude oil' (Cheapest fuel) that propel ships diesel engines with modern engines only.

Never happened as it would have increased the cost of moving goods and the world's oligarchs and oligarchical states would not allow that move to take place.

Some 282 million vehicles were registered in the United States in 2021. The figures include passenger cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, and other vehicles. The number of light trucks sold in the U.S. stood at 11.6 million units in 2021. According to The Essential Daily Briefing: “It has been estimated that just one of these container ships, the length of around six football pitches, can produce the same amount of pollution as 50 million cars. The emissions from 15 of these mega-ships match those from all the cars in the world. I googled the info, Don't know how true it is! https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+cars+co2+to+make+up+for+1+large+ship+co2+emissions&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1045US1045&ei=R6wAZPSqF_6j5NoPrLW1yAY&oq=how+many+cars+CO2+to+make+up+for+1+large+ship+CO2&gs_lcp=Cgxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAQARgBMgUIIRCgATIFCCEQoAE6CggAEEcQ1gQQsAM6BggAEBYQHjoFCAAQhgM6BQghEKsCOggIIRAWEB4QHToKCCEQFhAeEA8QHToFCCEQkgM6CAgAEBYQHhAPOgUIABCABDoFCAAQkQI6BQgAEKIESgQIQRgAUNgNWP7gA2D5-gNoAnABeACAAZgBiAHoNJIBBTIxLjQymAEAoAEByAEIwAEB&sclient=gws-wiz-serp https://www.google.com/search?q=how+many+cars+trucks+in+the+united+states&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1045US1045&oq=how+many+cars+trucks+in+&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j33i160l3j33i299l2j33i22i29i30l2.29920j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Hello Overcomer...! I presented a bio-fuel plant concept in Trinidad to the president of the NEC (Since renamed National Energy), a large energy services conglomerate of Trinidad Government ownership.

It is a subsidiary of the even bigger National Gas Corporation. The NEC who provides industrial ports coupled with specialised Industrial parks developed to facilitate the shipment of oil, plant components, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) and petrochemicals.

I was presenting to the president of the NEC company over a decade ago to look for an opportunity to install the plants and bring the fuel seed to produce an alternative economic fuel, as was being used by Lufthansa internal flights, which I had discovered on my visit from Germany. My research took me to the IMO for shipping and other sources but I cannot recollect the detail today but the facts and sources were taken from reliable sources.

Of course, I could have made a mistake but I do recall cross checking (as I always have for decades as I originally presented to large international audiences for IBM in London, so it is an automatic habit locked into my morale compass) and found it to be a high value of the 1.2 million vehicles exhaust content being equivalent to 30 of the largest, oldest and dirtiest vessels - they all operate on diesel engines. It might have been concentrating on the Nitrogen content as the CO2 is a false narrative and Nitrogen is the evil gas as it is this that has increased asthmatic conditions in children at a ratio of 1:4 in the EU according to a few surveys.

I cannot be more helpful that that for now...but thank you for your interest and courteous cross check...!

I will be the first to tell you I am no expert, not a novice for I have been researching for a few years. My interest was peaked 30 years ago when I was introduced to Global Warming,. with CO2 as the bad guy. CO2+ sunlight+ water +warmth =green things growing with oxygen as a bi-product. CO2 is a little over 400 ppm or 1 part per 25,000. Now the Global Warming = Climate Change folks wants to starve our planet of life giving CO2 and destroy our world for some agenda. No don't think that is going to happen. Thanks for your post quite interesting.

Exactly!! Plant more, decrease pollution. What are they doing? Cutting them to make into pellets to send to Europe for heating and BBQ grills.

Guess what I've been doing to make my plants at home grow better? Breathing/blowing on them. They are taking off.

We add CO2 to CA greenhouses.

Oh, Me, you mean the duck running the marathon was a joke, right?

Yeah, I'm sure she got a lift for most of the way, no?

CO2 enrichment in greenhouses allows crops to meet there photosynthesis potential. Enriching the air with CO2 can be done by means of the combustion of natural gas or with liquid CO2. The supply of extra carbon dioxide is an often applied method to increase the yield of greenhouse crops.

I read the plants grow best 1,500---2,000 ppm with a CO2 generator. Is that true or no?

I was told by my grandmother that we had to talk plants into growing well. The exchange of benefit is logical now that I'm an adult and understand. If they wanted to help repair things, they'd plant more where they have cows, populations of people. So simple but not a lot of money to collect that way and it certainly won't drive agenda. Fixing is not the true objective.

A friend of mine in our study group has 28 laying hens who gave no eggs for most of the winter, he ask me did I get any eggs out of my 9 hens. I told him yes I had gotten 2 to 4 eggs every day during Dec. and Jan.. He ask what I did to get the hens to lay all winter? I told him I fed them grass/chic weed, and I talked to my hens and they talked back. That's all I did differantly and mine are free range in a 40 by 70 fenced in area.

Everything does better when it's happy. He didn't interact with his hens? You really did well. I heard they don't lay as often in the winter.

That's right, they need 12 hours of sunlight to lay well. God made chickens to lay/have baby chicks in summer while there is plenty. In winter hens need all their energy to survive. My hens are so happy , some, lay for me in winter. It pays to be good to folks, it might come back around!

Amen to that! I used to have a hen, a duck and a guinea. They were raised together and when they began laying, they all laid in the same nest :) I'd sit down and they would run over and get into my lap.

Adorable; I love chickens; they have a large vocabulary of different sounds for different occasions.

Have you seen Wrinkle, the duck, running a marathon while wearing special booties to protect her feet? (I am easily amused).
