That table is evidence of desperation on the part of the UKHSA: it excludes the vaccinated. Every person I know in the UK with or post Omi has been vaccinated. Every. Single. One.

Canadian data is now showing 80-90% of cases in the vaccinated in nearly every province...assuming there is still some other variants hanging around and assuming the vaccine is still somewhat effective against those variants, every case of the virus MAY actually be in the vaccinated. There seems to be something nefarious going on with omicron. I wonder how many unvaccinated have verifiably actually been infected with this variant.

Well, it looks like they get infected also, according to the UK table, right?

Yeah... But I wonder how much due dilligence they are using to "confirm" that it is omicron. PCR test and symptoms? Because it doesn't say lab confirmed...

PCR test with SGTF, or sequencing, they have two separate columns.

They will be discontinuing these reports soon because ALL UK will be Omicron

I'm pretty sure I am an example of that. My daughter's boyfriend had the original COVID way back in Oct 2020, complete with loss of taste & smell, then tested positive again last week, with presumably Omicron, and did have mild symptoms (fever, chills, cough). Following extended exposure to his presence (because I didn't give a sh*t if I got it), I came down with the exact same symptoms. None of this was verified as Omicron, but the young man did take 2 separate COVID tests--one at home, and one in an urgent care.

You are very smart about not giving a shit. If you were giving a shit you would get it anyway, but would be greatly stressed out without a need. I gave up on avoiding omicron and go maskless everywhere.

Is your daughter's boyfriend also vaxxed? I wrote that vaxxed people get more reinfections.

"because I didn't give a sh*t if I got it"

😂 😂 classic. That's another reason the rates of omicron being so high in the vaccinated is crazy to me. Us unvaccinated are basically having the COVID version of chicken pox parties on the regular, and the vaccinated would rather walk to the other side of the street than be close to someone for more than 3 seconds.

Do you know your vitamin D level? I have also been exposed and remain unsymptomatic; my D levels have been in the 80-90 ng/ml range for years. I never get colds either. Curious what others have experienced?

I have been Vitamin D deficient for over 20 years now because of an autoimmune disorder, and typically supplement in the winter. In the last two years I have been more strict about taking my daily doses and have been surprised by how many fewer colds i get and how quickly I get over them. I've seen a noticeable difference, even accounting for the fact that I work from home. I have been seeing my family throughout the pandemic and they all live in urban centres with higher rates of covid. Normally I would get several colds each year, some of which would develop into bronchitis or, infrequently, pneumonia. I supplement with 3,000 iu a day, along with Vitamin K2. Last blood test I had, my Vitamin D was in the middle of the "normal" range, around 80-90 as with yours. I don't know if my Vitamin D level has played a role. The only time I really got sick in the past year was when I went to a wedding around a ton of vaccinated people. Ironically.

I live in Ontario and was waiting for the holiday data to be posted today and the infection rate for the vaccinated is incredible: 63.92 per 100,000 for vaccinated, and only 49.9 per 100,000 for unvaccinated. I haven't seen the update for Omicron ratio among the positive cases, could still be a lot of Delta circulating. In Canada the unvaccinated are heavily restricted for movement so they will likely just say that it's because the vaccinated can still go out and mingle whereas the unvaxxed can't.

It's better when cited with the full volume. 50738 fully vaccinated, 2447 partially, 9533 unvaccinated. 62718 total. 84.8% cases in the vaccinated. 93% Quebec... MB did some housekeeping to make their data harder to follow case by case but in short about 1046 cases in the vaccinated and -100 cases in the unvaccinated. BC was 80%+, AB should continue to be 85%+. Only SK was like 52% (which is based on bs data).

The agenda at the moment is to blame, blame, blame the vaccine-free Brits for everything. Boris said some nonsense yesterday about 90% of people in ICU's being the vaccine-free. When Downing Street was questioned about where he got that data from they had to admit that it was hearsay from a handful of NHS Trusts.

At the same time the MSM is just bombarding the public with stories of ICU's being full of the vaccine-free. We are getting articles, such as one in the Daily Mail a day or two ago, from some unnamed surgeon, so it was claimed, citing his disgust at the vaccine-free for filling up the hospitals. When a newspaper runs such a story supposedly from an unnamed doctor you can pretty much guarantee that it is b*ll*cks.

To be frank, I am amazed that no vaccine-free have been physically mobbed.

I was maskless in an M&S cafe yesterday. That was bad enough. Then I didn't have a phone to scan a barcode to get my cuppa. Even worse, I was there for a sit down as I was having an asthma attack - broncho-constriction - so I had to use my emergency inhale in front of everyone. They were looking at me as if I was the unclean.

The irony was that, to use the inhaler, I had to suck the medication deep into my lungs... and anything else that was hanging in the nearby air from the all too numerous multi-jabbed coughers.

If I get through to the end of 2022 without being lynched I will be very surprised.

245 years ago, Americans were mostly British subjects, but we divided into loyalists and patriots, and fought it out. The patriots won. The tyranny of that time was not unique to that time or place, but is a consistent character of the human condition. The opposition to vax mandates is very much less about vax, which has little effect on most people, good or bad, but everything to do with the mandate, which is always inherently bad. Very small risk, but very small benefit, so the decision is mathematically irrelevant, thus a personal choice. Opposing that sort of tyranny is an essential act of patriotism, in the US and every other country.

So, I prefer to ignore the vaxed-unvaxed terms, and stick to loyalists and patriots. It's an important American tradition that we're happy to share with the world.

I agree with all you wrote, except for one sentence: "vax, which has little effect on most people, good or bad". I am sorry to say, but has has a horrible effect on people and destroys their immune systems. In the next year or two, there will be a terrifying fallout for the vaxxed.

David Watson's avatar

The numbers so far indicate thousands of injuries out of billions of injections. If it's grossly underreported, it's still insignificant risk. The important lesson for those of us who know a bit of math is the risk, however small, is unnecessary for most of us, because the risks from infection are also insignificant small. A few heart cell damaged in every patient, if that turns out to be the date, which hasn't been determined yet, is tolerable. Like lung damage from smoking or routine environmental tal toxins, or brain cells killed by alcohol consumption. We endure many risks, all the time, but balance them with the benefits of engaging those risks. The vax is insignificant benefit, so any risk is unnecessary. It's just math.

The scandalous medical industry has not said why the injuries are occurring, which probably implies deeper problems. We'll figure it out soon, and the math might change. I suspect the corruption of the medical industry and its government and media enablers is a far greater risk to most of us than the vax.

Expand full comment
Igor Chudov's avatar

The injury is the destroyed immune system, it does not show up right away but it does show up in people clogging hospitals with colds. I wrote about that a couple of times.

Expand full comment
David Watson's avatar

It's not clear yet that this is permanent or just temporary. Immune function is highly dynamic, constantly clearing out unneeded components. We'll probably find those few with altered immune response to related pathogens will return to normal in a few months. its the same reason we've observed reduced antibodies a few months after vaccination. We don't keep antibodies we don't need. If we kept all our antibodies, our blood would be sludge. Enduring immunity is a function of memory cells, not antibodies. We haven't seen a lot of detail yet on those, I assume because the simple RNA induced protein doesn't build strong memory. If it did, they would brag about it, endlessly.

The vax panic will pass. It's an imperfect vax that most people didn't need. Those who were injured will be really mad when they learned it was unnecessary.

Coronavirus "surge hubs" are to be set up at hospitals across England in preparation for a potential wave of Omicron admissions, the NHS has said.

The eight temporary "Nightingale" units will each house about 100 patients, with building starting this week.

There are also plans to identify sites for a further 4,000 beds if needed.

Record Covid case numbers were reported in the UK on Wednesday and NHS medical director Prof Stephen Powis said the service was on a "war footing".

The NHS is often required to deploy extra beds over winter, but hospitalisations in England with Covid have risen above 10,000 for the first time since March.

I read your article, and liked it.

You were not the only one who figured that the jabs would be ineffective (or worse) - published research clearly shows that all prior efforts to develop a vax against a coronavirus have not been successful, and in fact - with the original SARS - the vax was found to lead to ADE (anti-body dependent enhancement), whereby the experimental animals all died when challenged with the native virus.

Combine that with all the hype, before even a vax was developed, and anyone with a halfway decent BS detector would have had alarm bells going off (I did).

But the vax is clearly not about protecting you from covid - that is becoming obvious even to the less scientifically or politically aware.

And yes, all those vials need to be used before their expiry date - maybe the Pfizer contracts include something to that effect! Or somehow, the governments get some financial incentive from the globalists to actually get the jabs into arms, & not just for purchasing them.
