Or to lose EVERY war very quickly.

When is the last time we actually won a war? Answer 1945.

uselesseater's avatar

The military would have to install charging stations every few miles and coal-fired power plants to charge them. An alert enemy may become aware of this. Alternatively, the military could carry gas powered generators to charge vehicles.

Janet's avatar

I believe I read China is building a new coal fired plant every 2 weeks.

Blowing up farms, to put animals out of their misery? Sheeeesh--- CRAZY!! But, hey, there's a new movie coming out titled "How To Blow Up A Pipeline," about a bunch of ragtag "activists" who are sooooo desperate to end climate change NOW that they get together to plan how to, well, blow up a pipeline... imagine the fallout... yeah. s-u-u-u-u-r-e... blowing up an oil refinery, or a pipeline, or a nuclear plant (heh heh...) IS going to STOP global warming, all right-- by killing people, putting them out of work so they don't drive their cars, adding to the carbon dioxide burden, wiping out agriculture so more people die from toxic crap in the water, in the soil or just die from the toxicity and/or starvation, etc. Whatta LAME proposition. And this is a MOVIE, coming to a theater near you!! Imagine all the copycats that'll actually TRY this... I think that's the real reason that this movie was made-- get all the environazis to try it. Whatcha wanna bet?

It's like the mass shootings. I swear to God, they are MK Ultra-style ops done to get public sympathy so we'll think it's fine to scrap the Second Amendment, a touchdown for the No-Guns-Under-Any-Circumstance-For-Any-Reason-EVER Crowd. Hilarious!! And from what I've heard, Russia did that in Ukraine. Butcha wanna know, Barbara Loe Fisher of NVIC and the people allied with this vaccine information group actually got a lot of really bad laws stopped before they could kill and maim more of us, by working very hard with the "system." No matter WHAT anyone thinks about it, anarchy has ZERO solutions. In reality it's just a bunch of undirected rage and that has never solved ANY problems, not matter what anyone wants to say about that.

Aeneas Aristaeus's avatar

That reads and sounds like an idea that would offer some much needed incentives at the right places it seems. I've often thought about whether all those legislators would change their voting habits if all their luxurious mansions and expensive cars would aperiodically catch fire and burn to the ground under mysterious circumstances almost at random, after they have betrayed their constituents time and time again just to fill their already overflowing pockets....Greedy scum of the earth, all of those members of the class of professional liars and deceivers and betrayers and crooks are detrimental to the common good, as they care not for the consequences of their actions, just their rewards for their treasonous, heinous, terroristic, deeply flawed behaviours.

Troll Hunter's avatar

Nope. See below. And look at history.

Oh-- and I used to "think" the way you do ;-)

Greg C's avatar

See. You make my point about no common sense. I did not call for the end of pig farming or bacon. I called for the end of horrendous "pig farming" methods used in IOWA. The sows spend their entire life not even allowed to walk. They are tortured from birth to death. Certain states have outlawed those methods.. But not the Ass Clowns in IOWA. I suggest you start with a reading comprehension course.

Aeneas Aristaeus's avatar

Fully agree with you there, despite the objection/difference that it would be a good idea to outlaw industrial farm animal meat production completely.

IMHO it would be an even better idea to keep farm animals as pets and companions around and only if one passes away due to natural causes only, it would be permissible to use the meat that is left by the body, that way meat gets valued more while the animals don't have to suffer at all.

Except for moral and ethical degeneracy and the lack of common decency and empathy and reciprocity and of course capitalism, IMHO that would be a really great solution. Vultures for example feed themselves in the most ethical and moral way there is, besides from some types of bacteria. That is the way to go, the way of the vulture!:)

RE Nichols's avatar

"Yes! Blow up all those pig farm cages."

I guess you meant that for hyperbole or a joke.

Greg C's avatar

I meant to say that Iowa uses torture treatments with those cages. Every time animal rights group enter a state bill to outlaw those abhorant practices, the national PORK ASSociation dumps shitloads of cash to the legislature to kill the bills. So it was not a joke but prolly hyperbole.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Then maybe make yourself clear next time.

Aeneas Aristaeus's avatar

Have you already considered the fact that most people with severe personality disorders such as narcissism, don't know that their minds and perceptions and confabulated pseudo realities are completely out of the ordinary? Behaving like a jackass would just for the sake of behaving that way is not an end in itself.

Shame on you, glowie! Aren't you able to engage in a factual discourse without having to constantly inject yourself into any argument? Seems like there might actually be a lack of boundaries and dysregulation in effect, either intentionally displayed or real, whatever, the CIA knows about such tactics all too well.

Greg C's avatar

I suggest you start with a reading comprehension course. My statement was pretty clear.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

All domesticated animals that are slaughtered are tortured. Period.

I don't think you want to get in a "reading comprehension" battle with me.

You won't fare well.

John's avatar

It's all vile. Some states are slightly less vile.

How anyone who ever lived next to a pig farm if any size could eat that garbage, I will never know. There are at least a dozen diseases you can contract from pork, and workers at industrial pig farms die every year, overcome by the noxious gasses from thousands of pigs. They have huge lagoons of nothing but pig effluvium and the stench is literally deadly.

Pigs are like buzzard's, neither is meant for food, both are intended to process road kill.

Aeneas Aristaeus's avatar

What an immoral, unethical, deflective load of hogwash! How can you still look at yourself in a mirror?

Aeneas Aristaeus's avatar

Well, the theory is that the mRNA is extremely fragile, and doesn't always survive transport. Plus... it's not the mRNA that is the problem, it's the spike protein.

Lev Jess's avatar

Excep the mRNA invades cells and has them make spike protiens and that does not switch off - always waiting for a close infection to create more spikes. Ban all mRNA.

shibumi's avatar

As I understand it, the mRNA in the CV19 vaxxine makes spike proteins because of the nature of CV19. I don't know if ALL mRNA vaxxines make spike proteins.

That being said, I'm OK with banning all mRNA vaxxines.

1. The USA should not be illegally invading or occupying any foreign country, e.g. Syria, where they are stealing oil and occupying farmland to try to collapse the economy/government, so that they can install a puppet government.

2. Idiots like her need to be shown a military exercise between a combustion powered and an electrically power units, with a demonstration of what live fire will do to an electric vehicle. Also shown scenarios, and real life incidents, where EVs causes significant property damage and loss of life from horrific fire or not enough EV charge in urban areas. An equally insane idea would be EV emergency vehicles, like ambulances or fire engines.

We had plenty of them when I was a teenager back in the 60s. Everybody saw them for what they were, and they were marginalized, made fun of. Society has disintegrated to the point that today, they're in charge. Societal decay is the problem.

John Murphy's avatar

I think many of them look stupid on the surface and when they open their mouths they remove all doubt.

Robert Mitchell's avatar

And when good men do nothing. Even the ‘good men’ in Washington agreed to dig the hole deeper. Maybe a bit less than otherwise but still deeper.

Ryan Gardner's avatar

Heres the problem imo:

"...The belief that order must be intentionally generated and imposed upon society by institutional authorities continues to prevail. This centrally-directed model is premised upon what F.A. Hayek called “the fatal conceit,” namely, the proposition “that man is able to shape the world according to his wishes,” or what David Ehrenfeld labeled “the arrogance of humanism.”

That such practices have usually failed to produce their anticipated results has generally led not to a questioning of the model itself, but to the conclusion that failed policies have suffered only from inadequate leadership, or a lack of sufficient information, or a failure to better articulate rules.

Once such deficiencies have been remedied, it has been supposed, new programs can be implemented which, reflective of this mechanistic outlook, will permit government officials to “fine tune” or “jump start” the economy, or “grow” jobs, or produce a “quick fix” for the ailing government school system.

Even as modern society manifests its collapse in the form of violent crime, economic dislocation, seemingly endless warfare, inter-group hostilities, the decay of cities, a growing disaffection with institutions, and a general sense that nothing “works right” anymore, faith in the traditional model continues to drive the pyramidal systems.

Most people still cling to the belief that there is something that can be done by political institutions to change such conditions: a new piece of legislation can be enacted, a judicial ruling can be ordered, or a new agency regulation can be promulgated.

When a government-run program ends in disaster, the mechanistic mantra is invariably invoked: “we will find out what went wrong and fix it so that this doesn’t happen again.” That the traditional model itself, which is grounded in the state’s power to control the lives and property of individuals to desired ends, may be the principal contributor to such social disorder goes largely unexplored..."

- Butler Shaffer

The question to me is if people figure out it's not a "sense" of something wrong; that it's actually wrong because the people who create the "system" think they are equal to or better than "gods"

Peace's avatar

Well quoted at least, but nonetheless completely futile. The state amounts to a mere tool for some particular interests of some unknown groups of people with the goal to create a very specific type of order that is structured in a way that benefits said interests. While the lack of this tool would certainly ameliorate many situations, as long as any technology exists that allows for the suppression of the masses beyond mere muscle power, it is really all about psychology and the dark triad personality types as well as neuropathy, but I would guess that the mentioned author has to eat too, thus he is spewing BS since that is the only thing he seems capable of with confidence:)

Please rest assured that such an overt and ostentatious display of unfathomable lack of common sense is all part of the plan of the UN agenda 2030. The US still has the power to crush the rapidly forming new world order, should the people finally take over power and decide to use their military and financial might for other purposes like hunting down the NWO aspirators and parasites currently in charge. Such capacity and capability must be destroyed and prevented at all costs. For a new world order to emerge the hegemon must first fall and then never rise again. The WEF told everyone about its outlook at the world in 2030 with its beloved short video presentation, which is always worth remembering. A multipolar world order is being erected based on the planned demise of the US in its current state:

Baya Sana's avatar

It's the reason that makes the most sense. Biden is bringing America down and is happy to do so.

Robert Mitchell's avatar

If Ukraine has shown anything it’s that Russia has little conventional military capacity. ICBM’s sure, but if they can’t wipe out Ukraine, how are they going to cross an ocean and attack a huge, formidable coastline? Same for China. Small border wars like Ukraine and potentially Taiwan are likely, but the USA will self destruct before an outsider takes it over militarily. Who do you think is funding the destruction of our morals? Drugs? The war against God? The alphabet+trans people? Our enemies.

No One Knows's avatar

crossing an ocean to wage war is a herculean effort.... neither they nor us are likely to be able to do so.... yet our leadership is so weakening our military and the top brass seem to be woke and really traitorous who knows what connections they have with ledership of other countries and what they might do... I don't trust them..... reports are that our supplies of ammo/ missles etc will take years to replenish as we just don't have the manufacturing infrastructure to replenish

OldSysEng's avatar

Jennifer Jones's avatar

Very interesting. When you say "our enemies," are you referring to other countries, or something else?

It will be some UN globalist army rather than some other nation state, which is why they also weaken Russia and China. No nation states (or citizens) should be able to defend themselves. We all know what happens in this case...

MaryJane's avatar

No one is ever going to invade USA with tanks. It was a point made I believe by Ron Paul? That US mil investing in tanks is a waste of money. Unless, of course, it's to use it to invade other countries, like in Ukraine/Russia now

fifth column at head of mil.... who knows what could happen.... remember Milley's talk about he had a back door to China to warn them of any danger that could come from decisions from Trump... a fifth column within can do amazing things.... it is full court press.... war against the people of the USA

While I was in the military there were several mandatory uniform changes. I later realized that these were as much for selling uniforms as a boon to some uniform company as for any practical reason.

The same logic applies here. Some exclusive parties are already prepared to provide electric vehicles. If they prove to be totally worthless after a year or two, so what? The right people get paid.

There are innumerable examples of this like $500+ eotech optics so trash they had a recall.

Its best not to actually even consider that anyone takes these proposals seriously as somehow improving warfighting capability. They don't. Its just another graft like all the rest.

What do you think happens when a 100kW Li-ion battery is hit with a .50 bullet?

The Society of Problem Solvers's avatar

To be fair, a gas tank hit with a 50 cal isn't great either

Won't usually turn the vehicle into a crematorium

Americans don't care I am sorry to say. The majority of the population will never see this story aside from a flashing headline and it will soon be "out of sight, out of mind." This will give pause to perhaps 20% max. The rest will be a mixture of "that's great," "oh well," "what's that," and "I don't give a shit."

Sorry for the black pill on this lol. If you want to swallow two of them understand why Granholm and Company say it. Its because they know Americans, aside from the conservative/liberty movement types don't give a shit about anything. They lose no votes and feed red meat to their base even though we understand how preposterous it all is.

Russians can sleep well... More proof US military is not about winning wars, but making $$$

The Russians cannot sleep well as long as the clowns in the US have the power. Check the work of Nuland - that creature is hell bent on destroying Russia even if it means the use of nuclear weapons. An ideologue with power is more dangerous than anyone can imagine and both the US and EU are ignoring the Russian warnings. I pray that some sanity prevails but at present, the US clowns are anything but sane.

China happy to watch US and Russia weaken each other. Ever wonder why all those payments from China to the Biden family?

(nevermind all the taxpayers money sent to Ukraine that is being funnelled back to the Democratic party to fund their coming 2024 election shenanigans). James O'Keefe has recently been sniffing out one way they are laundering the dollars back to the party.

I think that China is not very happy to see the Ukraine war still going for two reasons. First, the Russian army is in the process of being enlarged to at least 1.5 million men from around 580k and to make things worse, a lot of these men will have actual combat experience. All of a sudden, they are looking at a combat tested neighbouring army that is three times larger than it used to be. If China had any designs for some part of the Far East of Russia, those designs would be of little use now. Second, the war is delaying any chance that China can have reliable direct links overland to Europe. China needs to trade to keep things running internally and the war is stopping that from happening. Shipping is the alternative BUT that trade link is very susceptible to US blocking action (the US submarine force is still very effective). Ask the Germans what happened in the WW1 once the blockade from the Allies started - it literally starved them of the resources needed to keep going.

The damage that could be achieved via a blockade was demonstrated in WW1. Germany's position even after the Lenin coup in Russia (which effectively gave Germany a win on the Eastern Front) did not improve sufficiently to boost the morale of the German population. In WW2, Germany had already lost the war with the Soviet Union by the time the blockade from the Western Allies was finally having some effect.
