Our job is easier though. We are making the risk assessments that the government agencies have failed to. I was reading an article on Epoch Times today about leukemia in China after Chinese brand covid vaccines. The author wrote:
In the pharmacovigilance industry, there is a generally accepted principle: “It is better to make 3,000 misjudgments rather than to miss one case.”
That's what we're doing. It is better to be alarmist than complacent and especially for your own family. I'd rather a thousand false alarm signals than one missed Maddie De Garay and particularly so for a disease as low risk to children as covid-19.
