I have talked to several high school aged youth, as well as some college aged young adults. Most are extremely focused on how "climate change" will impact their life. I blame a lot of the younger liberal teachers for this-I have heard some of their discussions with their students, and I just want to barf. Teachers used to be told they needed to be "Switzerland" and make sure to present both sides, but not tell their students what to think OR tell them what they believe. That idea is long gone apparently. One young high school student was extremely anxious about his "carbon footprint," so much so he was giving his 5th generation farming father all kinds of grief and pushing to sell the farm, as the animals were destroying the planet. This stuff is real-and it is really insane! Another student decided to become a vegetarian and ended up really sick due to not getting the right nutrients. I am so sad for anyone believing the climate change lie. Nobody does their own research anymore. If they did, they would realize this climate hype and change of wording about the climate disaster had been going on about 50 years now-first we were going to freeze to death and have another ice age, and less than 20 years later all the polar ice caps were going to melt and drown all the coastal cities of the world. I am just amazed at what people cannot, or maybe will not, see. Keep your excellent articles coming!
The struggle is very real indeed. A while back l was asked whether l would like to take up a position lecturing Psychology to Undergraduates at a University in London .. years ago l would have accepted the offer however, when l look at friends and former colleagues who are working within the educational structure, it is beyond the imaginable for me to “echo Agendas that l know are designed to fire up anxiety” leading to all kinds of really unhealthy behaviour and suffering. Young minds being hammered day in and day out with conflicting information, chaos, subliminal messaging are going to suffer appalling effects - marched into therapy where the Agenda will be “the saviour” reminds me of the ending of Orwell’s 1984.
These precious young minds are unable to process multitudes of conflicting information and easily fall into peer group pressure. My question is .. how will these young people ever be able to parent a child? That one doesn’t bear contemplating!
Another excellent and thought provoking article Walter! You really do facilitate thought processes .. l find myself playing my piano with absent mindedness, as l am chewing over the sheer brilliance of your writing .. Thank you!
hi, Skye--I started part-time teaching intro to psych 12 yrs ago after retiring from my consulting work. a two year college connected to Rowan University (state college in NJ, USA). I sometimes listen in on other instructors and some clearly are indoctrinating their classes. esp in history etc. I avoid politics completely (except to occasionally point out which countries/political systems have gone broke bec of socialism). but actually I don't see many students who buy into the indoctrination. actually they privately complain about such teachers. (small sample, and not typical of what happens at a large university.)
This guy was prescient. He died over 100 years ago:
"Ninety-nine [students] out of a hundred are automata, careful to walk in prescribed paths, careful to follow the prescribed custom. This is not an accident but the result of substantial education, which, scientifically defined, is the subsumption of the individual."
There is a massive number of kids and young adults becoming vegan and harming their health. There is also a new trend to not allow newborns their own mother's breast milk and instead they are making vegan formula from Irish Sea Moss blended with hemp milk. Seriously there are videos all over Youtube about making it and there is one man took over the control of the baby from it's mother and he has forced the baby to eat vegan formula only with the child being the size of a preemie at 6 months old because of starvation!! There is a Youtube channel called Vegan Deterioration that chronicles famous vegans throughout the years and shows how their body starts changing as they go into starvation with them losing hair and getting dental problems. It's really wild sitting back and watching what these young people are unwittingly doing to themselves.
So agree. Should be prosecutable. Adults—go ahead and ruin your health. We did not evolve from grass and leaf eating humans. Nor were we created that way. But go ahead.
For sure. Much of that kibble is mainly non meat. I tried to feed my cats better stuff but finally only wet food. Sooooooo picky they were. No dry stuff though as they got old but still got fat. I miss them.
Plenty of healthy vegetarians in the world and plenty of sickly meat eaters.. not everyone wants to be a meathead... as far as mothers not wanting their babies to have breast milk?? That is high grade lunacy.
A lot of research is now suggesting that whilst there is no doubt that “breast is best” for babies - those who have decided to vaccinate are shedding the spike protein to the child .. of course everyone has their opinion on the Vax programme - we are all entitled to our views - l would rather face a firing squad myself and get it over with quickly .. but associates have made it feel they have been pressurised into becoming fully vax’d.
I’m a meathead. If that’s what you automatically call someone eating meat. Proud of it too. We are talking about vegan eating. Vegetarians are different. Easier to get adequate protein. I know 2 vegan—one mostly junk vegan food. Sugar. Carbs. Useless salads and so much fructose. The one trying to do healthy vegan is chopping and slicing and combining lots of fruit and grains rice and beans. ——but still she can’t lose weight which is why she’s doing it. I just don’t think young people have a clue these days that choice of food—our only fuel besides air and water, is so important. Our food system is corrupted and the sickcare system promotes that heinous pyramid and cholesterol causes CVD. And more lies. Balderdash. So we need to differentiate here because the 2 ways of eating are different. But we always hear But…… but but—the healthy vegetarian cultures—and there are some but they have been indigenous societies. Indigenous societies have evolved with these foods. There has never been a vegan indigenous society. I was raised on a farm. We ate animals. I eat meat fish chicken and eggs cheese cream and at 74 I’m healthy as a horse. No jabs. But I laugh at your meathead. Not a slur to me. Cheers.
I apologise. I was feeling hard done by by the veg bashing. I do know that the secret of diet is not so much what you do eat but what you don't eat and the food supply is compromised so it's not so easy. But there are plenty of toxins is the food now. Glyphosate being the most troubling. Then there's pesticides, herbicides, hormones, preservatives. Having good genes to begin life is a big plus and will get you through better than those without. Diets consisting of a lot of pasta will kill you sooner and vegs tend to err on that side. Meat eaters can be low on plant nutrients.. ONe has to be a discriminating omnivore at any rate.
I have not seen one happy or healthy vegetarian yet (most miss work regularly and are on all types of supplements). Not surprising since humans are omnivores and what they are doing is not natural. Still, it is a free world and they are free to do what they want if they are adults. I just wish at least some of them would be the non-preaching type, as in the type that lives and let live.
I know plenty of healthy happy vegs.. and a whole lot of miserable meateaters... i reckon i live in a different world... one problem with some vegs is they don't have the knowledge to know how to cook so you get complete proteins.. new vegetarians tend to be like that.. i am on all kinds of supplements sure, but a lot of meateaters my age are on all kinds of pharmaceuticals.. That is a fact!! Better get your meds from a health food store... I do think the gov't ought to support the health industry instead of the pharmaceutical industry, but that's just the socialist in me i guess.
Well the ancient subcontinent of India, which makes up about 18% of the world's population, has a pretty high vegetarian population - I don't know how high, but they haven't died off yet and their food is amazing.
Teenagers need support in their diet no matter what - whether trying to go veg alone and accidentally starving their body of nutrients, or living off of pizza and ramen in the college dorms and accidentally starving their body of nutrients.
Our hospitals are full of meat eaters - western diet, aching joints, atherosclerosis, extra fat, antidepressives, skin fungus, colon cancer. We've got quite a few glowing-health vegetarians showing up on their bicycles every morning to put on their white coats. We've also got meat eaters riding in on their bicycles in excellent health.
There are terrible ways to eat both veg and non veg... eating a diet consisting of a lot of carbs is now known to be real bad. The pasta diet. And the food supply in general is toxic with a lot of grains and beans contaminated with glyphosate. Meat is at least as toxic with antibiotics hormones and more glyphosate. Dairy too. Business as usual is killing us.
India was a lot more vegetarian previously, at least the Hindus were. Not the Muslims of course. So there is a tradition of veg food there that is obviously sustainable. More people are eating meat now due to westernization i think.
I know a lot of overweight vegans. It's not healthy, and the ones that fixate on 'plant-based' proteins that mimic meat--I feel so sorry for them. NOTHING replaces animal protein, not nutritionally, not in terms of taste! UMAMI.
Never mind the amount of processing in the fake meats--how people cannot see that the energy use is actually GREATER than the inputs for animals?
Just like the EV thing. Yeah I guess we just find those lithium batteries in the desert somewhere, pre-made and waiting for us to plug them in, and then when they wear out, they dissolve. Totally green.
Meat eaters like to eat vegetarians.. they taste better. it is possible to eat a plant based diet and thrive.. whether it is good for humans is the controversy. Especially when the previous generations have been carnivores, becoming a veg is a radical step. There have been vegetarian cultures in the world but not vegan that i know of.
After all a WOMAN is an animal. Can’t be feeding babies animal food. That’s how cracked and brain damaged some young vegans can get. Can’t feel sorry for these idiots with babies.
Hah. Correct. Because mothers can spread germs and virons to their little ones at any time, all moms should be fully masked at all times--forever. You can't be too safe!
"There is a Youtube channel called Vegan Deterioration that chronicles famous vegans throughout the years and shows how their body starts changing"
To be impressed by that is about as smart as to be impressed by videos showing you how "Jews control everything", presenting you a list of Jews that have some influence.
This is called selection-bias. The opposite of representative.
Look at the standard American, who is not a vegan. Apparently there are a lot more people who get really sick even though they are not vegans. Maybe this is more complicated.
This has nothing to do with "veganism", though. Not with the kind I know, defined around ethics, leaving animals alone - which avoidance of b reast milk has nothing to do with.
It's as retarded pinning that on "veganism" as the scare media reports like "oh another dead baby of vegan parents" - when they gave their infant nothing out canned tomato juice.
Yeah technically "vegan".
This is the type of sick, shameless bias you are all whining about now in the media w.r.t. C19 vaccines and losely connected topics.
How about not engaging in this behaviour yourselves?
I only said that this particular vegan trend that I just read about is my new Dumbest Thing Ever. Which it is. But that doesn't mean that all or most vegans do this. I'm sure it's a fringe thing.
I'm vegetarian myself, my sister is vegan and my brother spent several years as a vegan. So I wasn't trying to generalize about vegans at all. Just commenting on this particular stupid thing, that SOME vegans apparently do.
I believe it is the present one influencing our children in a very negative way. My 16 year old granddaughter, all honor classes and on four ice hockey teams, won’t eat red meat so she can help save the planet! I worry about her nutrition needs. I hav3 sent a few articles about how unhealthy impossible meat is, but never talked. She said she read them. I’d love to dose her up on vitamins and minerals. The younger boys are worried about the planet dying! Not normal thoughts for young children! We can only be here for them.
They were literally taught Al Gore's movie in school.
Their whole school life is centered on this. The communists have been extremely active in the schools. We saw the teachers' union show their true colors during covid. The schools did this. The people that were able to change the school curriculum in the US, and those able to create an entire pseudo-scientific discipline (climate science) decades ago, and have been pushing this story in order to attain total world domination that did this. It's not a few freaked-out teachers doing it. And, they changed the school curriculums like over a decade ago, so, the current high school graduating class are full-propagandized cult members.
Although I mostly agree with you, there are glimpses of hope out there. I have a 2020 grad who is extremely conservative-who didn't even realize it totally until hanging out with friends after graduating and seeing how little they have in common now due to opposing views. However, there are others from that graduating class who have awakened, and now they are friends, when they never were while in high school. I have to believe there are others...
"Teachers used to be told they needed to be "Switzerland" and make sure to present both sides, but not tell their students what to think OR tell them what they believe. That idea is long gone apparently."
Before I quit teaching, I was told this by younger colleagues:
"To not pick a side is to pick the wrong side" or words to that effect, including not-so-subtle hints that not being "for us" is to be the enemy.
"giving his 5th generation farming father all kinds of grief and pushing to sell the farm, as the animals were destroying the planet."
Interesting he would be gung ho to destroy some famnily farm which aren't typically the ones doing damabge in some ways - shouldn't he be chaining himself to some corporate factory farm door instead?
"Another student decided to become a vegetarian and ended up really sick due to not getting the right nutrients."
IDK how old you are and how up to date you are with this stuff, but with that story, you might rather make people laugh, except very biased ones.
I have not eaten meat since the 90s, get guessed younger by looks than peers, am left alone by the flu waves my non-veg colleagues catch, am not on a single med.
"I have not eaten meat since the 90s, get guessed younger by looks than peers, am left alone by the flu waves my non-veg colleagues catch, am not on a single med."
I've been a meat eater all but 3 years of my life where I went vegan and started having health problems. That was over 30 years ago though and in all my years as mostly an omnivore I've never had the flu. I also have people tell me I look in my 30's despite being in my 50's. I chalk it up to not drinking or smoking which seems to age a person's face and also that my genetic testing revealed I carry a gene that makes people look younger than their age. Perhaps you carry that gene too.
The tree-planting route might be good for a third-grader. Beyond that age, we should respect our children enough to explain to them the truth and expose the climate apocalypse lies. They are being indoctrinated in our schools. Planting a tree won't counter that. In fact, the idea of planting a garden to "use less diesel fuel to grow food” is exactly the type of emotional approach taken by the indoctrinators. The world cannot be fed with home gardens. That's a fantasy that shouldn't be supported. Nor can it be fed without fuel. Fuel is not evil. Don't make it out to be and thus reinforce the propaganda. Abundant, cheap energy, which at this point is fossil fuel, is what lifts people out of poverty. And less poverty means a cleaner environment That's what we should explain to our children. Come, let us reason together. That's what our children deserve.
An afterthought: the tree-planting exercise would be beneficial if used as a moment to explain why C02 is a good thing and not a poison, something basic that they probably aren't even taught these days
No, it will make it worse. All by design. If you want to know what their plans are, or, rather, if you want evidence that they have been making plans, you might want to just go ahead and take another watch of Soylent Green if you haven't seen it in awhile or ever. I always thought the movie was predictive programming -- I knew, for example, that irl global warming policy will make electricity extremely expensive, and in the movie, it is global warming that is doing that. But until I watched it again I didn't realize it may have been even more so than I thought. The movie is actually set in 2022. Food, fuel, and water are all extremely expensive and scarce. Global warming and overpopulation are blamed for everything. But the thing that really caught my eye was the face masks. We're never told why, but many people in the movie are wearing cloth face masks. I get it that it gives a spooky feeling or whatever as a reason to include it, but the coincidence I found a bit spooky.
For a tree to survive now where l live in the County of Suffolk it will need to be GM! Yes! That is a fact. Glyphosates are being used to “take out nature as we knew it” and replant with “the future” this was necessitated by the “spraying” used in geo engineering ..
Having harvested a rather pitiful handful of garden things recently, I realized what you're saying the hard-labor way.
What's important for all of us to add to this is awareness of how we use that fossil fuel. It should ideally be abundant and cheap for necessary uses like food production and heating (along with trying to make our insulation good quality). However, large personal automobiles with single occupants is not justifiable. These emissions, like those from livestock, contribute e.g. to the ozone holes that are causing massive coral bleaching events, with escalating die-off of countless beautiful living things, in many cases irreplaceably.
Since 1990, because of overheating, we have lost half of the world's coral - which is like the rainforest of the sea in the animals that it supports and the cleaning services that it provides.
Taking care of our natural world and the innocent living things is not a foolish idea, despite getting a bad reputation from how it is talked about.
Wars are at least fewer now than in the past. Prior to the invasion of Ukraine I would have thought such a war was impossible. That conflict has many more chances to become huge unlike the skirmishes of say, the Korean War, etc. The Ukrainian bodycount most certainly exceeds 200k+ which make it a major conflict.
Not sure negotiation prior to Russia's invasion did much.
I don't know about all the world's coral (I don't see how anybody can), but the Great Barrier Reef now has the highest level of coral cover since records began in 1986, which even the BBC were forced to admit.
Edit: just did. This is good news from the BBC about recent fragile regeneration. However, the article does not negate the danger of bleaching events or their increasing frequency: ""In our 36 years of monitoring the condition of the Great Barrier Reef we have not seen bleaching events so close together," said chief executive Paul Hardisty. Great Barrier Reef Bleaching occurs when corals stressed by warm water temperatures expel the algae living within them that gives them colour and life. Only two mass bleaching events had ever been recorded before 2016."
We can learn from the Cognitive Dissonance demonstrated by pro-vax people assuring us that everything is fine and no evidence to the contrary.
Watch Tony Heller on bitchute, you’ll find most of what you’re saying is easily debunkable. He highlights how the enemy cherry picks data, avoiding pre-1930 when the world was hotter and stormier than it is now.
Do you have a particular video that you could recommend?
I see his CV here and he looks like an intelligent person. I do notice that his background in geology and work with Los Alamos inclines him toward oil & gas.
The argument of 'humans have done no wrong, continue doing status quo' is not attractive to me for taking care of nature or for boosters every 3 months.
It would be lovely to debunk the coral die-offs, I wish I could believe everything I've watched die was happy back alive again.
Interesting perspectives by Dr. Ridd. I would be interested to hear what his background is and what his colleagues say of the work - from this video there is not enough information to judge.
The video highlights a positive thing about Australia (good to remember after recent years' vax strategies) -- they really care about monitoring their environment. I hope that the newly grown coral can survive upcoming bleaching events. We need to continue extending these efforts to the reefs that are suffering in other parts of the world, as he mentions. Australian scientists have been the biggest players in those efforts.
Sorry, they are a mishmash, the search functionality in bitchute might help. I’m not familiar with his website. Try a few, try to ignore the partisan comments if they grate, all parties are equally guilty. Mostly he points out data sources which have been truncated or ignored.
In the case of CFCs, for instance, the sun causes the reaction:
Chlorofluorocarbons [CFCs] are broken down by ultraviolet radiation [the sun] to release chloride ions that react with ozone. The chloride ion breaks the ozone down into oxygen – one chloride ion can destroy 100,000 ozone molecules.
Chlorofluorocarbons are man-made chemicals that do not exist in nature. They are a volatile derivatives of methane, ethane, and propane that includes carbon, chlorine, and fluorine.
Here is an easy-reading story about the history of that research, including mentioning how representatives from industry have tried to convince people that it's not real:
You make good points, Paul, but it's worth mentioning that what is being instilled is a "free-floating" anxiety, because our youth are being indoctrinated to collectivism at the expense of individualism. They are being robbed of personal agency and forced into a "groupthink"approach to every sort of challenge.
The bias of these "therapists" inclines them to an affirmation model of treatment. Thus, their prescription to treat what is a form of learned helplessness is more collectivism. It is an ideology-based approach that accelerates an extraordinarily negative and disempowering feedback loop.
This inculcation of hysteria is not new. I experienced a form of it in the early seventies, but was fortunate enough to have been taught that one requires a balance between the needs of the many and the requirements of the individual.
"Save the Redwoods!" was one mantra. Living in an urban area, one was led to believe that Sequoias were an endangered species. When I later moved to "logging country," I took that belief with me. After a while, I made the acquaintance of a timber harvester and he showed me the reforestation projects. That opened my eyes to a lot of things. I think we are seeing a continuation of that same dynamic, which strikes me as more of an apparatchik-recruiting device than anything else.
At any rate, teaching kids to plant trees is a way of centering them as individuals with agency, and helping them to unlearn the helplessness that groupthink instills. Add the vegetable gardening aspect, and the locus shifts to personal responsibility. No, "the world" cannot be fed with backyard gardens, but that one youth CAN. It's important to teach youngsters that they CAN survive without the hive. When that lesson is not learned, nether is resilience.
Everywhere we look, we see weaponized fear as manipulative tool. Once noticed, it can't be unseen.
Anyway, your observations are lucid and concise. I think you're quite right about countering the hysteria with simple and verifiable facts.
I'm not saying don't grow a garden. I'm saying don't use that as a substitute for explaining the lies of catastrophic climate change. And it is also simply the truth that the majority of people in the developed world cannot feed a family from their garden. It's the truth. The average westerner cannot grow enough vegetables to feed a family year round. Growing food is not an easy thing to do. It requires years of experience to do well. We did it this year on our condo deck and got a tiny crop of tomatoes and squash. Even if we had more, that's not a healthy diet.
No one is saying you have to grow all your own food or don't grow a garden at all. But home grown veggies are superior in every way to organic veggies in the store. I live in a pretty far north location but i have spinach and lettuce ready by late Feb in my ghouses. I do live in the country. I don't grow all my own food.. but i don't buy veggies in the winter. I have a freezer full of them.. i buy rice from India. And dairy. I'd love to get local dairy that hasn't been tampered with tho. More and more people are producing high quality products locally.. Barring a nuclear holocaust, that future looks bright.
This is what happens when life becomes so convenient, so comfortable, that people MUST find something to have greater meaning in their lives. Curious the climate alarmists originate mostly in modern, developed societies.
Exactly, I don't think the folks, let's say, living in the ghettos of São Paulo or Mumbai are too worried about climate change....or for that matter the Scamdemic.
They're more worried where their next meal is coming from.
900 species have recently gone extinct. Sitting here with my coffee and laptop is comfortable, but my life would have much more meaning if I had used my time and education to help just 2 of those animals (identifying as female and male of course) find a safe place to live, with some water and something to eat. I didn't do that, nor is it easy to fathom what it means for a species to be gone forever: the best I can do is imagine if it were cats or dogs, how meaningful living things are.
37,480 more species are threatened. That's our chance to help creatures that are probably afraid, trapped, starving, in search of water, maybe having watched their families die.
Think of the emotion we feel when seeing some video of a person rescuing a dog from a flood, or whatever. That's the response we need to be pursuing, rather than a post like this that encourages us to be dismissive and mocking of the helpless suffering of innocent creatures, and deny that everything we've built / plowed / cut down / thrown out has an effect on where they need to live.
The very nature of ecosystems is the rise and decline of species. That doesn't justify injecting each other to think we're making a difference when their answers are a business plan they benefit from. I would guess Pesticides and possibly EMFs cause more insect problems than climate change. That's why organic farming is best, but this doesn't fit their business plan. The controllers want all Seeds to be patented and not usable so irradiate the seeds within the food. You can grow tomatoes and papayas from seeds in store-bought foods. Irradiation for our protection kills seeds. Vanada Shiva has written a book about these issues in India. Gmo cotton destroyed farmers and land. Question everything you're told to believe
You make very important points about these risks. There is no escape for living things from these influences, and little creatures like insects are especially vulnerable. The question of EMFs is made taboo by big business rather than being responsibly studied. Patented seeds is a recipe for disaster and has been terrible for India and South America.
Natural rise and decline of ecosystems has happened in the past, but the speed and intensity with which this is happening now due to human destruction is no comparison.
"Over the last two decades, the American bumblebee population has decreased by 89% across the U.S. New York had a decline of 99% and they disappeared from the northern part of Illinois ... Climate change, pesticides, disease, habitat loss and competition from honey bees are listed as driving the bee to extinction."
I would say the big asteroid strike that took out almost everything rivals what we have going on now, but you make a good point. I really think heavy pesticide use is one of the worst things we are doing.
You have a good outlook on how important it is to choose our emotions and think of the larger timeline. To that I would add that there is a difference between being anxious versus making good choices. For instance, I'd like to think that riding a bicycle for decades instead of spending 40 minutes each way commuting in a large car does contribute to positive change. I'd also like to think that all the people I know who are doing research and having international meetings to discuss their findings, and therefore make policy decisions -- that changes the reality of the world bit by bit. We need your help, however you can -- whether it's using less plastic packaging, buying fewer things, donating to wildlife shelters, cutting down on chemical and gas use, sharing information with people you know, educating yourself about whatever you find most interesting, volunteering at local nature events to for instance remove invasive plant species or plant things that are good for insects, put a bird bath in your yard and some plants that support wildlife.... All of these things together make positive changes, with a focus not on death and suffering but on life, appreciation, and sharing this world that God gave to all species.
Every day while you're feeling warm and fuzzy over a dog or horse rescue there are literally hundreds of millions of animals killing and eating each other alive. And it doesn't make a damned bit of difference to them whether they are the "last of their kind" or one of the still vast teeming horde.
It is not reasonable for you to compare the natural diet of living things who have co-existed for many thousands of years in complex ecosystems
to the sudden obliteration of these ecosystems, putting all of them in danger regardless of who's eating who, by human technologies that are designed without regard to any living thing except people. We are a brilliant species, we can do better than that.
I also find it sad if you are a person who goes through life without valuing if an animal is the last of their kind.
Very true. One interesting thing we are ignorant of is just how many species are disappearing, without even realizing they exist. For instance, they discovered an entirely unknown species of ant living in the top of a single redwood tree recently. Apparently there are entire ecosystems up there that we know nothing about. But only 1% of trees remain.
Since life began, I wonder how many species have gone extinct and how many new ones arrived? We humans are still evolving and adapting and have many advantages over other life. Can we in fact change that ongoing process in any meaningful way? Darwin notes if your can't adapt and evolve you die. Can humans stop that process?
Your question sounds philosophical, reminiscing perhaps to times when clubs and a campfire were our means of healthy competition. Environmental studies point out that all living species within ecosystems do Compete for resources and survival, and in doing so adapt and change. However, they point out that there is a difference between Competition and Obliteration or Destruction.
Take, for instance, fireflies. What I learned recently is that fireflies have a specific habitat, which is a narrow vertical column above the hole that they burrow in the ground. You would think that when humans come in and build a house, pave the driveway, that those fireflies would just fly a few feet over to the rose bushes. No. Their entire family line dies - these creatures are tied to their special spot in the earth. Who has the advantage here - the humans with the building plans and cement mixers, or the little fireflies? Is it their fault for not evolving from one day to the next, when someone decides to build their house there?
I will mention again the statistic from above: Insects in Germany declined by 75 percent in just 25 years.
Does that sound like a sustainable rate of disappearance if it had been happening that way since life began?
Can we in fact change that process in any meaningful way?
We are in an ecosystem that is constantly changing. Certainly we humans over time have managed to eliminate a lot of seemingly important elements of the ecosystem. If those elements are critical to the continuation of that system, the damage will cause the creation of a new system. That could be good or bad for humans. One might hope that we are wise in our stewardship of our control as we are with, say, nuclear weapons.
As one wag noted, cockroaches will take over some day. I have observed that there were fewer flies in the London air compared to Albuquerque, maybe less food.
I do subscribe to Nat Geo and see their dire warnings and articles about sustainability. I can lament the loss of some creatures, living things but have no idea how that plays out in the ecosystem of the future. Whether by man or nature, species will end and new ones arrive. I do see nature reclaiming the great remnants of the Maya which disappeared not too long ago in geological terms. I can see NYC a in few hundred years perhaps enjoying the same fate.
I suspect Bird has a genuine concern for other life forms. I think we all have some compassion for other beings. But we live in a dynamic world in which humans have evolved to be top predator. Humans adapt readily so are better suited to survival. How can I feel guilty about nature itself? A fair concern is the human effects on our ecosystem and using things that alter balance in unknowable ways. All that says to me is we need to be aware and perhaps develop less disruptive technologies. While we have created horrific weapons with due care they won't get used. But having them we did make some wars much more costly so decreased their chances.
i hear the gates foundation is working on a pill for climate change anxiety.
of course it won't work unless you stop eating so much, stop wearing so many clothes, stop heating your home over 50 degrees and stop trying to own stuff.
The pill will be laced with fentaynol. Take one a day and your climate anxiety goes away. Take two and your carbon footprint goes to zero! (after you finish decaying).
Guilty grandfather but I do my best to allay my grandchildren and childrens fears by explaining to them, that the whole climate story is just a fairytail made up by some wicked old witches and warlocks, and just like in the "pied piper of Hamlyn ", so long as they ignore the whistle, they won't be led of a cliff....! Of course they think I'm joking so I then tell them....you'll be fine, they'll have a " vaxxine" for climate change anxiety before you can blink and you know for sure, there'll be no long term safety testing.....we haven't got time.....!🤷♂️🤦♂️
everybody should be required to carry an atom bomb with them everywhere they go. Then everybody will be polite, except me, cause I know that the bomb doesn't work. I saw the Mouse that Roared and knew that it wasn't purely comedy.
The first thing I told my children when they started watching TV is it's full of lies. Thank God I did that. I didn't realize how relevant it would be.
we should encourage retired philosophy teachers to offer community level classes on formal logic to help people to be able to figure out what is real and what is manipulation. Right now we're living in a world where people only seem to know what comes out of their electronic oracle and it's all bullshit.
I think they'd be happy to do it but that you couldn't give it away.
yes, and fast before there's no electricity. It's obvious that they mean to screw up the electrical distribution system, even that it was planned from the beginning. Even the little turd emmanuel macron spoke of making small nuclear reactors which is clearly a good plan. He'll never do it of course.
Small nuclear reactors would be so safe that you could have an alcoholic cantonnier taking care of it for years and live next door and not even think about it.
And it wouldn't need any telecom between it and the others nearby. There'd be a wire permitting it to be turned off and to connect the affected clients via a neighboring small reactor. We could recover millions of tons of good steel being used for a giant electrical distribution system which only serves to enslave us and empower our enemies.
The thing that has made this happen is everybody accepting the idea that one needs to be an expert to offer an opinion. This was a psy-op too, of course.
Go watch Galen Winsor on youtube. He'll explain how the nuclear industry has been a giant hoax from the beginning. He knew that the operator at 3 mile island just needed to open the window and there'd have been no event.
But nobody today can even listen to him and understand because they've already been brainwashed by misinformation coming from people who've made them believe that misinformation is information and vice versa.
Most of our problems would go away if people would stop being doofuses and intellectuals and just learned a little bit of logic.
I'm conceiving a safe way to steal electricity from behind the smart meter. Imagine a device like a cable greaser, but big enough to go around the electrical cable. You drill three very small holes around the perimeter, every 120 degrees. you probe with a very small point in each hole, you attach a wire to this point, you put an in line fuse. eventually you can find all three conductors You only really need one, you can just find the 230 and then ground it yourself.
No risk, their system isn't going to notice the juice that flows which burns your 1/4 amp fuse (a circuit breaker would be better. So, everybody can go behind the counter and when they send somebody to look, the neighbors all get together and "pants" him or tease him. Maybe a litre of sugary water in the company car. All good fun.
But I think if everybody's reasonable they won't notice. If you start all heating your houses with 40 year old electric heaters they'll show up quicker.
the substack geniuses who refuse to apply scientific standards regarding alleged proof of the existence of pathogenic virus particles apparently think it wise to "grandfather" an old hoax perhaps out of respect for the criminals who invented it.
The hoax has been going on for generations, so surely the people who are now fooled by generations of people who were fooled can't be wrong! Great reasoning!
Going after the fake "covid" vax without going after this violation of the scientific method is like knowing that there's a pyromaniac burning down all the woods everywhere but let's ignore him and only focus on this fire here which we have proved will only continue burning if we pay attention to it.
assigning a truth value to a statement is the same as inciting hate speech. I was reading the different "hate speech" "laws" by country. Other than in Craotia it would seem to be legal to speak promoting hatred of bankers, congressmen, judges, et cetera. Just not blacks or browns or yellows or people who are at a loss as to why they have sex organs.
It's interesting that inspiring other to hate others is legal except in these cases.

Do you really believe the planet is a comparable system to a human body? For your information, nobody else here does, because they’re not, so the argument doesn’t work. Go read Igor articles on the fertility affects of the vaccine, they emphasise the importance of comparing like with like.
It would be better to unplug your kids from the entertainment prison, focus them on nature get them out in it. In my almost 60 years the earth was going to freeze, then it was going to burn, all I seen is folks get rich off of it. Here is my climate joke, Knock knock (whos there) YOUR (your who) Your the carbon they what to get rid off. May not be a joke
Good point to get kids out in nature - it's the best way to develop understanding and so many kids today are raised in a box of sidewalks and TVs.
Sounds like you live in a nice place, maybe we need to go there so we don't see things either. Our experience is narrowly escaping from raging fires, seeing centuries-old trees topple due to lack of water and toxic metals, having an ever-present brown line hanging in the sky of car smog over the city, seeing all the rivers dry up that we used to swim in, watching waters previously teaming with fish turn cloudy and dead from pollution, having our yards full of scared wild animals who are hungry and thirsty, trying to find somewhere to live after the latest huge developments and hotels and stadiums were put up.... Have seen some people make money on it. People selling firewood from 2-story piles of trees that died in the drought, and those guys who come and spray paint your lawn green because there's not enough water in the aquifers to support our lifestyle.
Why doesn't the solution to ecoanxiety involve investigating the facts about the thing that frightens you? Consider the poor resolution of our temperature measurements and numerous siting issues with temperature stations of record. Note the discrepancies between satellite MSU temperature measurements and ground based temperature measurements. Take the time to learn how the theory of enhanced greenhouse effect works and see whether it's predictive value is high or low. I think for those of us who love someone suffering from this condition, my children are just a bit young for it and the indoctrination here is not terribly strong but I expect to have to deal with this issue at some point, looking into facts together, respectfully to one another, is a good start. I am very anxious myself whenever the first response is 'do something' without stopping to look around. Also stories are very powerful, I like Anthony Watts' story of how he became involved in the climate change debate while innocently working on, I believe it was a grad school project. Still available at wattsupwiththat.com
I find it amusing when people believe trees are a reliable kind of thermometer. A poster above tells his grand kids that climate change is made up by evil witches and wizards to scare children. I thought it a nice way to seed some doubt.
Well measuring tree rings can give an idea if a particular year was favorable for the tree or sorta adverse, but obviously there is more to a tree's life than temperature. I like to point out to Warmanistas that when CO2 was higher and conditions were warmer life thrived, good example the Jurassic
Just like when us Gen X'ers were growing up from middle school into college they first scared us with stories of how pollution was going to cause acid rain. Our teachers told us it would be so bad we wouldn't be able to get out in the rain by the time we were adults because the rain would burn holes in our skin. They said it would be so acidic it would dissolve concrete and buildings away. Then they said we were going into a great new Ice Age and the world would freeze over. 30+ years later even though I worried about those things as a young person none of the things they said would happen have happened. So basically climate change is a new story, but the same fear mongering technique meant to scare people into compliance and make certain businessmen richer.
All this will go away when their dream of a third world sh*thole becomes reality. We have not hit rock bottom and like alcoholics, rock bottom seems to be the target.
My dad (god rest his soul) used to tell me, “if you can’t learn with words and explanations, you’ll need to feel.”
The last 2 generation have decided they can’t learn from words or explanations. They’ll need to feel the results of their idiotic actions.
Tigers are extinct in 10 countries, and only have 4% of their original place to live left. Of 9 types of tigers, 3 are extinct in recent decades, and a 4th no longer exists in the wild.
The last Irawaddy dolphin died this year, alone, struggling to swim from injuries after being strangled in fishing nets.
Now. Let's turn our attention back to something worthwhile!
Thanks for your care! There are several animal sanctuaries that rescue tigers and other animals, and they need your support. One shelter with tigers in Texas actually went bankrupt in 2010. Thankfully other rescue shelters were able to step in and adopt those animals. (see e.g. https://bigcatrescue.org/tiger-rescue-2/).
Here are some other places you can donate, and it may even be tax deductible. You could even visit with your children and teach them the importance of valuing animals, as some adults sadly haven't learned this.
I am not a senior citizen in a retirement home, but I care about the situation of elderly people who have suffered under Covid conditions.
I am not pregnant, but I care about the safety of pregnant women and the future of their family; I am not a teenage boy playing soccer, but I care about preventing myocarditis in them -- thus we are here on Igor's Substack.
I don't live in the sea, but I care when dolphins are being strangled unnecessarily by bad fishing practices.
The good Samaritan was not personally beaten and lying on the side of the road, but they had the empathy and good moral compass to care about the suffering of others in a different situation than them. Jesus did not teach scoffing, if that's a role model that resonates.
Edit: there is another model of existing -- only caring about one's own group, such as billionaires catering to the interests of billionaires, CDC and NIH employees covering their own tails rather than helping the people they are supposed to serve...... The powerful not caring about the meek and helpless. Not everyone develops the finesse of seeing outside of their own circle.
Let's see: people have been bombarded for years with anxiogenic propaganda everywhere and in everything, meant to nudge them into extreme fear of the God-State who has to deliver them from the all-powerful Demon of Enthropy but can't because there are too many skeptics that evade taxes and don't wash their hands... OF COURSE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!!!
But they are victims. Don't blame the victims. Who is guilty? The demiurges.
At a certain age, you become an adult and make your own decisions.
Once you hit 18, IMHO, you are not longer a "victim" of the climate scare. You can make your own decisions and do you own research. Young adults are choosing this path; they're choosing not to look at other ideas and to make this the focus of their life. So they are in a prison of their own device.
Also... the panic over...everything might make them feel more alive. You know, just like C0VID does for a lot of people.
This has been going on for longer than the generation teaching your grandaughter. My daughter, her husband, both highly educated and in their mid 30s with a new baby....they are a product of a post modern university education and their ability to think critically has been erased by their indoctrination. They cannot think outside of a post modern framework....that is the boundary for all their ideas......they are unable to deviate from that framework.....and it's that generation teaching our grandkids.....it's not about IQ but programming. Jordan Peterson is probably one of the best minds in explaining this stuff....my own experience leads me to believe much of what he says is true...there was a famous Russian KGB deserter who also spoke of the communist methods to brainwash the west.....can't think of the name but Robert Malone recently posted on his substack and Gettr. 🙏
When I was teaching college physics (up till about 2019) my students were surprised how "optimistic" I was. I in turn was very surprised how fearful they were of the future, and how sure they were that their existence was a big negative. It made me sad. I tried to encourage them to think of problems as things to solve, not to lament.
Thank you. This is very real. I know some young women who barely believe life is worth living due to this instilled fear and dread.
Parents: ask your kids to show you their TikTok FYP (“for you pages”). I can’t say I know who is behind the algorithm’s feed but the one I saw was horrendous. It was the worst videos and scenes of climate apocalypse and pollution and poverty. No wonder the person who this FYP targeted was depressed and even suicidal. It is criminal!
Most of that age group are Incels who hate women and claim women will "enslave" them and take all their money and strap them with kids. There are huge anti-kid groups on Reddit where mostly guys but also gals claim they hate kids and how they will save the planet by not having kids. Think they refer to themselves as anti-natalists.
Mr. Global will gobble up everything and force them into slavery not allowing them to marry. They should worry about that instead. Though both make people feel hopeless.
With the assistance of the government health care systems such as the Canadian MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying). Which they awkwardly named "MAID" (as in handmaid) rather than MAD which actually makes more sense as an acronym and title, Medical Assisted Death.
Keep your excellent articles coming!
pinning for now -- amazing story -- the struggle is real
~ William Torrey Harris
A hundred years ago is when the Rockefellas took over and created the public schooling system.. and this man describes it quite well.
You're right. Makes complete sense.
Veganism for babies and ypung children is child abuse
So agree. Should be prosecutable. Adults—go ahead and ruin your health. We did not evolve from grass and leaf eating humans. Nor were we created that way. But go ahead.
I'd even include making your pets vegan is animal abuse.
Very individual dependant. Most can't stay on a vegan diet for very long. Good cleansing diet, however.
What?! A vegan trend against babies feeding from their own mother's breast?! I think I just learned my new Dumbest Thing Ever.
After all a WOMAN is an animal. Can’t be feeding babies animal food. That’s how cracked and brain damaged some young vegans can get. Can’t feel sorry for these idiots with babies.
Feel sorry for the babies.
Kind of being sarcastic there ken. 😀. It’s all about the babies.
Really sad, right?
They like MASKS!
Enough said!
Hah. Correct. Because mothers can spread germs and virons to their little ones at any time, all moms should be fully masked at all times--forever. You can't be too safe!
😢😢😢🤬😡
" Give me one generation of you're children and I will change the world"....Lennin....and that's the generation that taught our kids......!🤦♂️🙏
We're fucked. Hate to say it.
Thank God I’ll be gone by the end of this shite.
UN (we pay for) is working with Google to hide all search results that are negative towards their climate agenda. It’s AGENDA!

Seems I miraculously survived so far - if barely.
Again, I agree, but have to have hope there are others. Without hope, why go on?
Yeah
Climate anxiety is likely to dissipate upon anxiety of food scarcity.
Well, yeah.
Just like COVID "vaccine" anxiety will immediately go away after the first nuke lights up.
Everybody is worrying, where is the next one?
Not likely. By then, we will have Soylent Green.
For a tree to survive now where l live in the County of Suffolk it will need to be GM! Yes! That is a fact. Glyphosates are being used to “take out nature as we knew it” and replant with “the future” this was necessitated by the “spraying” used in geo engineering ..
Here's to trees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9zWDtDKDS8
Agreed we could be wiser with our resources. wars rather than negotiations does seem a large waste of physical resources.
I don't know about all the world's coral (I don't see how anybody can), but the Great Barrier Reef now has the highest level of coral cover since records began in 1986, which even the BBC were forced to admit.
https://electroverse.co/great-barrier-reef-sees-record-coral-cover/
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-62402891
It's another climate alarmism poster child that is not fit for purpose!
I'll look at those, thank you.
The right is no stranger to cherry picking believe me!! And distorting data, but if that's your bias why would you question?
What’s your point?
Do you have a particular video that you could recommend?
I see his CV here and he looks like an intelligent person. I do notice that his background in geology and work with Los Alamos inclines him toward oil & gas.
https://co2coalition.org/teammember/tony-heller/
Edit: I have now had time to check him out and it does certainly sound like he's a mouthpiece for Oil & Gas. https://www.bitchute.com/video/nSiKpEfVz2c/
The argument of 'humans have done no wrong, continue doing status quo' is not attractive to me for taking care of nature or for boosters every 3 months.
It would be lovely to debunk the coral die-offs, I wish I could believe everything I've watched die was happy back alive again.
Dr Peter Ridd is perhaps the foremost researcher on the Great Barrier Reef (and has predictably been vilified for reporting his findings).
Here he reports on the latest findings on the GBR:-
https://www.bitchute.com/video/uz5bNvkc09to/
Interesting perspectives by Dr.
The channel is difficult to find

Thank you, I'll take a look after work.
Ozone holes are caused by the sun, not chemicals.
Here is an easy-reading story about the history of that research, including mentioning how representatives from industry have tried to convince people that it's not real:
https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/education/whatischemistry/landmarks/cfcs-ozone.html
That's crazy.. everyone should grow a garden... where do you live? LA???
They're more worried where their next meal is coming from.
and Babylon.
"Flying insects in 63 protected areas in Germany had declined by 75 percent in just 25 years.... Another recent paper found an 84 percent decline in butterflies in the Netherlands from 1890 to 2017." (https://news.mongabay.com/2019/06/the-great-insect-dying-vanishing-act-in-europe-and-north-america/)
"Over the last two decades, the American bumblebee population has decreased by 89% across the U.S. New York had a decline of 99% and they disappeared from the northern part of Illinois ... Climate change, pesticides, disease, habitat loss and competition from honey bees are listed as driving the bee to extinction."
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/10/14/american-bumble-bees-disappeared-8-states-face-extinction/8448637002/
"Over 700 North American bee species are heading towards extinction" . https://inhabitat.com/over-700-north-american-bee-species-are-heading-towards-extinction/
I would say the big asteroid strike that took out almost everything rivals what we have going on now, but you make a good point. I really think heavy pesticide use is one of the worst things we are doing.
Yeah, I left asteroids out of the discussion, but maybe if we throw a bucket of paint on a painting no asteroid will come for a while...
And it doesn't make a damned bit of difference to them whether they are the "last of their kind" or one of the still vast teeming horde.
thank you. you saved me the trouble.
We humans are ignorant of all kinds of actualities.
:D Not sure how to reply to that one, but I'll agree with you that second-hand clothes are more fun.
Can humans stop that process?
But having them we did make some wars much more costly so decreased their chances.
i hear the gates foundation is working on a pill for climate change anxiety.
of course it won't work unless you stop eating so much, stop wearing so many clothes, stop heating your home over 50 degrees and stop trying to own stuff.
the Bill Gates pill would be addictive and increase climate anxiety on purpose
The pie terrorists were fined $88. A-shame to waste a completely good pie on pervert pilfer, Bill Gates of hell.
lol. but maybe we can make a vaccine? a chip implant?
Then he would obviously develop an antidote Vax .. the “man” is, for me, evil personified! I am frankly surprised that he is still standing.
The living minimally trend of not owning or buying "stuff" turns out to be one of their brainwashing techniques.
Not a pill, but a vaccine. Bill seems to have orgasims when you mention the word vaccine.

Agree.
It might also help if people knew how crap was made and able to work with their hands.
The kids these days have no idea what it takes for something to just magically show up at their door.
I truly believe most of this is caused by the last two generations not understanding this.
yes, and fast before there's no electricity.
THIS
Smart meter rollout was aggressively pushed for 2019 in the UK. Maybe in preparation for remotely switching people off for the next few winters.
100%!
I just posted same idea (but less pithily lol).
I'd like to read it but the substack software is so sub-par that I can't find it without your help.
Your eyes prob just glazed over at the giant block o words, lol.
The only thing that works worse than masks is Substack
Lol. They're the modern day dunce cap
not me either!
See you didn't get the memo from the department of critical race theory science gender whateverism chrislamism:
Logic is white supremacist right wing extremist meat-eating climate denialism sexism echolalia.
And at least 3/4 of people in humanities, with a higher percentage in the philosophically inclined fields, are the ones driving this development.
the substack geniuses who refuse to apply scientific standards regarding alleged proof of the existence of pathogenic virus particles apparently think it wise to "grandfather" an old hoax perhaps out of respect for the criminals who invented it.
I'll give logic a go.

I think the HIV scare took my mind off acid rain… only just remembered it b/c you wrote this.
The future does not look bright...
It must be a real luxury to be worried about stupid shit.
You're dad was a wise man.
There's a chance we have to save these dumbasses from the gulags.
The psychology of totalitarianism says 30% of these people are beyond saving.
I'd be curious to see the percentage of these people who are on their 2nd or 3rd booster.
That would be interesting....
I think almost everyone I know over 68 is jabbed, boosted and will continue to get jabbed/ boosted. So... around 90% for me in that age group.
30% conformist
30% compliant, aka "go along to get along"
30% resistant
/not sure what that other 10% is doing....
The other 10%?
Running the show.
sh*tting their pants.
It may be too late to save them because the vaccine may take a lot of them out here real soon.
Brutal. I shouldn't be chuckling at that.
"Experience keeps a dear school, but fools will learn in no other."
Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack, 1743
Here's an example of stupid shit.
And how many tigers are living in Texas?

100%
I admit fighting extreme fear of the Demon State and feeling alone as I do so. At least a few neighbors know what's going on or listen to me politely.
I pitied the little girl, Greta Thunberg. Now that she's a woman, I call her behavior evil. Even if she is short.
"Autism" is often a sign of neglect or emotional abuse in children. No doubt in my mind that little Greta was a victim of her idealogue parents.
Yes, education is sadly destructive for critical thinking -- I have two degrees though
Probably Yuri Bezmenov.
When I was teaching college physics (up till about 2019) my students were surprised how "optimistic" I was. I in turn was very surprised how fearful they were of the future, and how sure they were that their existence was a big negative. It made me sad. I tried to encourage them to think of problems as things to solve, not to lament.
Clarify first: There is No Climate change crisis.

I sure am looking forward to ice skating up the river with Ned, Bonnie, and Timmy this Christmas.
Yeah, it's not just dudes. I work with men and women, some coupled up with each other, in their late 20s who are avowedly anti kid.
If their bloodlines end I am fine with that.
Sometimes I think that anti-birth propaganda is a good thing as the humanity will go through an evolutionary bottleneck.
That is actually a really interesting idea; I had not thought of that!
Like, well, you succumbed to the hype, and that's not in the best interests of the species so....byeeee.....
Exactly -- without nastiness, killing fields etc, people simply live until their old days and that's it.
The stronger part of the humanity will refuse that and thrive
Mr. Global will gobble up everything and force them into slavery not allowing them to marry. They should worry about that instead. Though both make people feel hopeless.
That is the classic globalist playbook: make people anxious about imaginary non-problems so they agree to be taxed even more.
And agree to suicide themselves.
With the assistance of the government health care systems such as the Canadian MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying). Which they awkwardly named "MAID" (as in handmaid) rather than MAD which actually makes more sense as an acronym and title, Medical Assisted Death.
