Actually I also had a mandate from workplace (for two shots and a booster). In my workplace there was increasing pressure built up through the summer for the vax and the mandate was official in November. At that time I was ready to fight and have prepared myself to the possibility that I may lose my job over this. I did my research and I used a religious exemption. Jeff Childers wrote in his Coffee & Covid substack an excellent article on how to use religious exemption for the mandate.

My religious exemption went through -- I need to admit that it is not easy to find a replacement for my position, and I have savings and skills. I can imagine other ways of making money for the family. So other people may not have the same luxury and luck as I had. While I personally don't blame people for choosing the jab to save their job, I need to say it is not a wise decision to take the jab to just keep the job. Let's analyze it.

1. you may be injured by the jab, and then you will also lose the job and the ability to take any other jobs.

2. even if the jab is harmless, say saline, it is utterly wrong that employer or the government can force a shot on you. If this is allowed, what kind of freedom do we still have? nothing!

3. the only way for the mandate to go away, is simply that people do not comply. It is just that easy.

Recall the southwest airline dropped the mandate since many people simply didn't take the jab? New York state dropped the booster mandate on medical staff half an hour before the deadline -- again, simply because too many people were ready to walk away over the shot. University of Chicago forced a mandate for all students and faculty, except faculty and medical staff in UC hospital. Why? because the doctors threatened to leave if there is a mandate.

It is pathetic and heart breaking that in many occasions people who were against the vax were not able to organize themselves to fight the mandate -- thanks to the censorship and brainwashing of the mainstream media. I hope after all these, more people can wake up and see through this huge clown show.

The last thing I want to say is regarding the college students. Vax mandate is still there as we speak, for a majority of universities, many including the mandate for a booster. (ps, now the second booster is out, are the universities going to mandate another booster? such a joke). And I just couldn't figure this out. Parents pay a huge amount of money (could be 80K a year for some private colleges) for the college to mandate their child for this harmful shot? It is different from the jab or job case where you take the jab to get paid, and here you take the jab in order to pay them. It simply makes no sense!

Well I do understand that there is a huge sink cost for these college kids and their parents. And for some elite colleges that are hard to get in, there are hundreds of thousands of other kids who are ready to take the jab (or have already taken the jab) and want that slot. And, they may say, many others have taken the jab and they are OK (i.e., not dropping dead yet).

But now we do hear stories such as college athletes dropping dead on the field, or in their sleep. Are people awake now?

Basically as of today I realize that how terrible the education system has become and I am horrified by the damages the education system has done to our younger generation. College kids are supposed to be one of the most rebellious groups of the society. But no, they are apparently the most obedient group and have terribly failed this real world test on intelligence and courage. And ironically, the most prestigious universities, the ones that are supposed to be full of smart kids and are proud of educating the future "leaders", have scored the worst. I have seen protests to the vax mandate in many state colleges but not a single one in the Ivy leagues. Ha. For example, Princeton university, often ranked as the best college in the US, force three doses for all students and faculty, mandate mask all the time, two covid tests per week for everyone (three tests for unvaxxed), and forbid students from leaving the county. You tell me, isn't this a prison? And you would wonder that students must protest this absurd policy like hell, right? No. No one questioned the vax mandate. The only thing I find is an article on student newspaper that plead the university to drop the covid test for asymptomatic ones. Coward. And pathetic. (ps, Princeton has invited Fauci for the graduation ceremony this year). No wonder.

I hope more people can see how deep the trouble we are in now. Only when people realize the problem can we possibly start to fix it.

Brilliantly and succinctly stated.

I home schooled my daughter when it wasn't 'cool' in the 80s and 90s. I think a lot of parents are waking up and realizing the 'school system' is a hot mess. The 'medical community' is a hot mess. All of it has been infiltrated by humanity destroyers but those same a-holes woke some of us up enough to see that our trust was blind. NEVER AGAIN.

True. Never again. The past two years were truly eye opening for me.
