If someone has more of anything than their favoured groups, they insist on laws and regulations that will remove from those with more (even if the it’s good looks, friends, education, etc.) to give to others who are without these features and accomplishments. It’s mostly about money and privilege, but it’s really about taking from others (whites mainly) to reduce their hated status.
RE: the hated status of the whites... I used to work back with a number of people of color years ago. I don't remember anyone hating me because of what I had because I was white. BTW... some of those people of color earned very high six figure salaries. I don't think they hated me for my white status.
