It is an insane world for sure... All thanks to five specific billionaires...

But January will be a month like no other in recent history and what will be after it, no one knows. I am optimistic.

Omicron may not be mild, but it will likely give us group immunity, at a high cost, assuming the vaccinated cat get immunity at all.

Igor: It would be awesome if you noted in one of your future posts what the data is showing in regards to those of us who have only had 1 dose of vaccine (without natural infection).

There is a little bit of data from the UK.

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1043807/technical-briefing-33.pdf

Look at Table 4.

Of 126 people hospitalized after an ER visit (I exclude unlinked), only ONE had one shot. This is all that is available, which is clearly not enough data. But taken on its face value it looks better than for double vaxxed -- except that the paucity of data makes the conclusion extremely unreliable.

Predicting the future is bad business because most likely something else will happen and NOT what is predicted. This is not a reason to avoid trying to predict the future, but please be nice to people predicting it as they are trying to be right against the odds.

That said, such a massive and deadly vaccine failure as Omicron, will certainly make us amenable to huge changes, and I think that yes, it will demolish the vax narrative and much else. I do realize that I have a bias because I hate Covid vaccines.

Omicron will also, hopefully, lead to true natural immunity, although possibly it will not due to OAS. If the latter happens, the toxification of society, with 70% of people turned into festering walking immunodeficient virus incubators, bitter and hateful, is something too unpleasant to think about.

I sort of agree with Berenson and Gato about everything they said about Omicron, except that I think that it is not mild and the resulting immunity will cost a lot of lives. But such is life. It makes perfect sense that two greedy corporations ran by major assholes (Bourla and Bancel) will end up killing millions.

All of what is happening now is a direct result of shortsighted or criminal vaccination policy.

Please do not underestimate how bad January will be.

It seems rather telling that Sweden's 2020 excess mortality is among the lowest in Europe and only 7.7% higher than their average annual mortality from the 4 years before that.

Can you please write a piece of why you think Omicron is not mild?

What about Maryland?

Fast Eddy's avatar

Maryland health officials reported 6,869 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, breaking the previous record of coronavirus infections set Tuesday, while hospitalizations eclipsed a state-instituted threshold that requires hospitals to implement their emergency pandemic plans immediately.

Some 1,505 patients were hospitalized Thursday with COVID-19, 40 more than a day earlier, pushing state hospitals closer to capacity, according to the health department. Of those patients, 305 required intensive care. Health officials reported 17 children are hospitalized because of the virus, including five in the ICU.

Correction: 6,869 "positive" PCR results. This won't stop until enough people understand that the PCR is deliberately useless and is pushing the whole narrative.

Has it peaked for now in SA? What does that portend? If it drops, doesn't that encourage Delta to come back?

Not “they will relax”, but “we will rebel”. They will never relax anything - it’s the finish line sprint for them to finish you off.

They wont be able to "control" the sheer scale of public backlash. The tidal swing of public opinion when the numbers getting sick go off a cliff. It has already started but "they" are not aware of it yet. Those with "officials" appropriately educated will delegate the decision making back to MDs on the ground. Think Japan. If they try anything else things will get very messy. This is one of the signs https://dailyexpose.uk/2021/12/23/update-regarding-the-criminal-complaint/

You are optimistic...we (Italy) are almost in a 'no jab, no job' mode, and yesterday has been decided to booster every 4 months...how can a human body go on this way??

Expand full comment
Mara's avatar

In Australia, every state has its own "no jab no job" policy - which vary in severity. And now they are reducing the time to boost from 5 months to 4 months at the beginning of January, and then to 3 months at the end of January.

They have not yet mandated the booster (except in Western Australia, for some specific professions) - but it is coming.

Ema. My question is more, WTF will wake people up?

Expand full comment
Ema's avatar

Actually, I don't know...I've asked my colleagues how many jabs would they be comfortable to take, and their answer was "..but, but, otherwise my Green Pass is going to expire" 🤷🏻‍♀️ so, of course they do it to keep their job, but tihs way they're risking their life to do so...Long story short, I think only kids dying or relatives dying shortly after the jab, or personal harm, could wake them up

Well we haven’t had typical flu seasons since the COVID shots rolled out.

Expand full comment
Formerly_Known_As_Someone's avatar

I think that has more to do with Covid crowding out the flu than with the shots. The shots were largely given in warm weather, making them look effective when it was really just seasonal.

The beauty of Omicron is the panic has brought so many to get boosted, seeking salvation, at this perfect time of holiday gatherings, events and travel, with Omicron OUTBREAKS EVERYWHERE! All the buzz right now is disappointment and disillusionment. The Good Little Citizens did their part, got their shots, blocked the Evil Unvaxxed, and are shocked to find they, and everyone from their social circles got the 'ro anyway! We're on the downhill and the wheels are coming off! Fast!

Remember who told us 'omicron is mild - it may even portend the end of the Covid calamity...
