There was a story recently about an engineer who designed a bridge that collapsed on the first day being charged with negligence. Imagine if pharmaceutical companies, public health officials, and regulators were held to the same standard?

Civil engineers have to stamp plans with a personal stamp that makes sure everyone knows who is responsible for a design. Errors and Omslissions in plans are a big deal. Software guys make you give away your rights before you use their product, we stand behind ours. What did Bill Gates sell, bridges or software?
