Words like "socialism", "communism", "Marxist" remain vague and undefined, but we know viscerally, thanks to decades of conditioning, that we should be afraid of them. It is vitally important to take nothing at face value. The pandemic response has awakened many to the realization that "official" sources of information can never be trusted without evidence and verification. My hope is that, as a logical consequence, minds thus awakened will consider that infectious diseases might not be the only thing they are lying about.
